This is a really cool kettle. It is fully automatic and you press buttons for desired results. You can boil water, heat water, make water lukewarm, make tea, coffee, soup. You can pretty much heat anything that has a liquid in it. The kettle is a decent size and doesnt take up a whole lot of space, especially considering how much use you will get out of it. The kettle is solid. The pieces are tough, well put together and will last a long time during normal use. The glass and plastic are durable and the metal looks like it can take a lot of heat. The kettle is thick and has heavy rubber gaskets. You place the kettle on top of the heater and decide how you are going to heat your food or drink. You choose how much water you use. If you are making specific things like various teas you just push the button until your desired tea is outlined and just walk away. I made fruit tea and it comes out really nicely. The kettle brews your tea to the perfect temperature. Your drink is easy to pour. You get a really nice steeper. It is easy to clean and you dont have to worry about tea pieces escaping, even if they do they are safe to drink. This is a solid kettle. There is a lot you can do with it.
