I've seen things you people wouldn't believe... Attach straps slip off the bag like a Belt of Orion... I watched LED targets glitter in the dark near the living room gate. All those AAA batteries will be lost in time, like tears in rain... Time to Buy. If you have an energetic kid and desperately need them to burn off calories somewhere other than bouncing off your living room walls, this electronic punching bag is worth every penny. Just prepare yourself for an assembly process that feels like you're putting tactical gear on a pool float. The "Cyberpunk" Assembly Struggle: The listing proudly calls this a "Cyberpunk Inflatable Boxing Set." They slapped the word cyberpunk on an inflatable tube! I half expected it to come with a tiny copy of Blade Runner and a neon leather jacket for a six-year-old. What you actually receive is a massive, deflated blue column, a foot pump, and a separate electronic target vest. First, you have to pump up the main bag and fill the base with water. Then—and this is my favorite part—you have to literally wrap the electronic target jacket around the inflated tube and strap it into place with plastic luggage buckles. It looks like you are prepping an inflatable minion for a riot squad deployment. The Great Strap and Battery Blunders: To make the setup even more hilarious, the engineering team apparently guessed on the dimensions of the straps. The buckle straps on the target vest part are way too long—even when shortened to the absolute maximum setting, the vest just wants to slide right off. To fix it and actually get it secure, I had to loosen the straps up a bit just so I had enough slack to physically tie them in a knot first, and then snap the buckles locked. And as a final parting gift from the instruction manual creators: the listing states it requires 3 AAA batteries. It does not. It actually takes 3 AA batteries. Make sure you have the right ones on hand so you don't have an eager kid waiting by a dead punching bag! The Gameplay is Awesome: Once you survive the setup and pop the actual AA batteries in, this thing is an absolute blast. It behaves exactly like a real arcade game. The Light-Up Punching Game Is a Blast
I tested this out along with my wife to get a feel for it before the grandkids use it, so this is based on our setup and play, not theirs yet. Our oldest grandchild is six. The game is the best part of the whole thing. The numbers light up and you punch the one that’s lit. If you hit it, it makes a punching or slapping sound, and if you miss, it makes a different sound. It keeps score and shows how many times you hit, the lit numbers are random, and there’s music playing. There are levels too, so when you pass the first one you advance to the next. I only tried that one game mode, not all of them. The volume is just right. Any lower and you couldn’t hear it, any louder and it would drive you crazy as a parent. There’s also a volume up and down area on the pad if you want to adjust it. It’s just really fun to have a game that’s physical like this. It comes with a pump and filling everything up wasn’t too much work. It’s pretty self-explanatory (see photo). Like most inflatable things there’s a strong plastic smell, but that’s to be expected. The gloves seem really nice and are definitely made for small hands. I tried putting them on my adult hands and they just went around my fingers, but they feel good (see photo). It also includes two vinyl repair kits that look like sticky tape, and it’s nice that they include those (see photo). A few things I’d flag. I wonder about durability as it gets punched. It flexes at the stem and I figure it’s just a matter of time before there’s a tear somewhere, but that’s what the repair kits are for. The scoring pad attaches with three straps that hug the bag, and all three were way too long. I couldn’t get it to hug correctly, so I had to tie knots in each strap. That worked fine, but it was odd that they were so off. The other thing is it can’t really stay upright taking punches unless you fill the base with water, which is in the instructions (see photo). I want to use this indoors and I’d never fill it with water inside in case it leaked, since I wouldn’t want water getting into the baseboards and causing mold. What I did instead was just hold it by the straps, and that worked fine. That’s probably what I’ll do when the grandkids are over. The pad also needs three AA batteries and they’re not included. One last thing I noticed is that you could probably just lay the pad on the ground without setting up the bag at all and let kids step on the lit numbers like one of those dancing games. I don’t know if that’s something they intend, and it might not be good for adults to do, but it seems like it would work and be fun for kids.

As a grandma always on the lookout for toys that help my grandkids burn off some of that endless energy, this one is a home run.
