Purple dragon is still impressing me
I have a couple of the purple dragon little daggers, that I love, I was a little hesitant about purchasing this one. I know the normal price seems exaggerated but with the coupon, for the price i paid I didn't think I could go wrong. I did a lot of research and comparing to the other Chinese little Tonto knives, and purple dragon always seems to have good knives and reviews. But I wasn't sure what the tang would be like on this one or how cheap the plastic handle might be, and I wasn't sure if the screws in the handle were real or if they were just fake ones that were molded in with the handle. but I was pleasantly surprised, they are real screws and it's got a pretty solid tang on it and the handle has a nice solid rubbery feel. The sheath is nice, The knife does not snap into place but it has good retention as heavy as a knife is it will not slip out. Overall pretty impressed, not only is the knife pretty, but it feels really solid and seems very capable for camping or for self-defense. I'm very happy that I bought this knife. It makes a very nice addition to my collection.

Oh this blade is freaking awesome. It's thick with a fine edge. There is also the wonderful design aling the endge of the back of the blade. Gives off a vibe of tsunami waves. I need to test it out and see how well it performs. The sheath is great and not made out of cheap leather but of hard plastic or whatever it's called. (Can't remember the name of the heavy duty style plastic used for sheaths). I've included some photos of the knife straight out of the box and the sheath.
