It gets to work automatically on contact!
This opener starts to cork the minute it touches the bottle or cork. It caught me off guard because with the old one I had, I could position the opening how I wanted and then hit go. With this one, it just GOES!!! sometimes at an angle. Upon removing the cork, the opener waits a beat and then starts the reverse process to spit out the cork! It's still new to me, but so far it feels pretty powerful. My old one pooped out pretty quickly... Stay tuned... we shall see with this one!

I love the Rabbit corkscrew! It’s a bit of a pricey indulgence but it takes away any struggles you might have with an ordinary corkscrew. If you have arthritis, this is perfect. Highly recommended!

Great corkscrew! The foil cutter tool a little finessing but the cork puller did a great job! I have weak hands and I had absolutely no trouble holding the bottle and corkscrew.
