Challenging and unique twist on Horrified games
This company has been amazing to work with. I had a missing piece for this game, after further thought I believe I missed it when I punched out the pieces. They graciously helped me acquire the parts. I LOVE the newest version of the Horrifed games! Intriguing and well thought through. New characters with a die roll twist is interesting. It’s a bit more challenging than the previous 4 games so you really have to read the instructions to get the hang of it. You don’t need to have a background in dungeons and dragons to understand but there is a tie in to that game, with the 20 sided die, and the way the characters get on the board. My friends, family and myself are enjoying this game tremendously.

Quality you would expect from Ravensberger
This game is so fun! My 9 year old enjoyed it as much as my husband and I did. It did take about an hour to set up and learn the first time, but I'm confident that subsequent playthroughs will be more timely. You can choose to work with less or more bosses, and the cooperative nature of the game makes it really nice for families. It is really fun to figure out the game together and allow our son to help build the strategy for overcoming the bosses! It comes with the typical character lineup of ranged, magic, tank type, and dps- so it does require cooperation. We enjoyed the game immensely an feel that it was a good value for the money.

Please just take my money!
I'd have to say this is my favorite edition of Horrified in terms of game play and the game board. Rolling a 20 sider is the perfect homage to classic D&D. The special abilities are very cool and class appropriate. The only negative i can say for this version is the lack of "puzzles" that exist with some of the other monsters. This edition screams for monster addons! Rather than a whole new edition just give us other monsters to fight. Orc or Goblin king where you have to defeat minions first. Maybe a necromancer. There are so many options.

This game is a good step in the right direction of playing D&D for young kids who’ve never played before. It can be a little confusing when going through everything and all the pieces but I think once you get through everything and just kind of feel your way through you learn as you go. There’s a lot of learning and it’s definitely a game for older elementary kids. We have the Horrified: Universal Monsters as well and enjoyed that game too.
