I did something similar for my husband to keep on his desk at work, and he loved it, so I wanted to try this version for my son as he navigates those fraught teenage years. What I really like about this concept is the reminder that encouragement doesn’t always have to come in grand gestures. Making beautiful memories
This is a really nice way to show someone that you love them. I'm using mine a little different. Every time I feel especially loved I'm going to write it with the date and out it in the jar. It comes with 100 cards, they are pretty big so I'm cutting mine in half and will have 200 wonderful memories when the jar is full. The cards are nice. They are brown and pretty thick card stock so that they will last. The glass jar is pretty looking on my shelf. It's thick enough to not be super fragile. The kid is made out of wood and it has a pretty grain. The stain is done nice and it's smooth and fits snuggly as it should to protect all my memories. This is a really brilliant idea for a product. The white writing on the jar is a pretty font and way more noticeable than it shows in my picture. This would make an awesome gift to give someone. I can’t wait to give this to my husband for his birthday! It’s so much more personal than a card, because I get to write all kinds of sweet messages straight from my heart on the little paper notecards and fill the jar with them. There are 100 little kraft paper notecards, cut into the size of business cards (2.1” x 3.4”). If I fold them, they take up more space in the jar, and it makes it fun for him to pull out one note at a time. The jar is made of clear glass and is perfectly round. It has a very pretty bamboo lid with a silicone seal to keep it in place. The words, “I (heart) you because…” are printed on the jar. He has to open the jar and choose a note to finish the sentence! This is a very nice quality gift that will become a keepsake.
