Flat Lids Finally Fixed Our Cabinet Space Problem
We came into this wanting to replace a set of casserole dishes with tall crystal lids that ate up way more cabinet space than they deserved. Between the odd shapes and those domed lids, we were losing several slots to dishes we did not even use that often. These caught my eye because they look great and the lids sit flat, which is exactly what our limited cabinet space needed. The metal racks were a fun bonus I was not really counting on. So far they have held up exceptionally well. We have cooked in them up to 500 degrees with no issues at all. Cleaning is pretty easy depending on how baked on the mess is, but that is basically the same as what we dealt with before, so no complaints there. They are easy to carry, and having all three take up one slot instead of spreading across a shelf has been the biggest win for us by far. The one thing I slightly miss is the extra headroom a raised lid gives you for taller items. That is the tradeoff with a flat lid, and for us it has been an easy one to live with. Really glad these came into the kitchen.
