Subtle heat
I just got the blanket and I've used it once and it's okay. I see a lot of back and forth about the thickness in the blanket in the reviews so I'll try to describe it a different way. With heat, this is a great winter blanket. Without heat, this is a great spring/fall blanket. It's not paper thin, but I think what people might be turned off by is how easy it is to hear and feel the heated plating on the inside. This is definitely a thin enough blanket to comfortably have a sheet over yourself while you're sleeping with it with the heat on. The design clearly wants you to lean into using the heated aspect of the blanket instead of just the blanket. I ordered the queen size as I have a queen size bed, and it's that exact size. I suggest sizing down from your bed size so it's easier to keep flat on your bed - since bunching up can damage the heating mechanism in the blanket. It has eight settings and the settings before 5 are low and subtle heat. Since there's eight settings the changes are so subtle you might not be able to tell the difference between one and two, three and four, five and six, and seven and eight if you only change one level at a time. You would definitely be able to tell the difference between 2 and 6, though. I'll update if anything else happens. Hopefully this is helpful. I try to make its helpful reviews as possible.

I liked the price and red and black buffalo print plaid on this heated throw. I was very pleased to see that the control allows you to choose the length of time, in hours, that you want it to warm you . Heats up quickly: you get to choose your level of warmth. The control is digital and is easy to understand and use, altho mine came without a user guide. I also like the shearling on the side opposite the plaid. It's not heavy but it's soft. Don't know how long it will last, considering the price point.
