My 2 year old son and husband put this together before Christmas. WHile the product is not something a 2 year old can do alone, it was a perfect bonding activity for my husband and son. It was easy to build and the instructions were clear. It comes with all you need for your little one to decorate the gingerbread house when it is complete. There are stickers and paints included. It ends up being a bit large to put on the Christmas tree, but we kept it displayed in the front room on our piano. My son was so proud of his gingerbread house that he'd show everyone who came over. It is super giftable. In my opinion $19 seems like a bit much for the price, but it is a good quality little project that your kids will enjoy doing.
