I have been using clear zippered containers in my luggage for years, mixing liquids and non-liquids in the same bag. Ladies, I decided it was time to reclaim some of my privacy and store some personal items more discreetly. Airport personnel can look at and do whatever they need to, but there is no reason for the guy following me in line to see everything. Hence, I ordered this adorable cosmetic pouch. It is very well-made; the fabric is sturdy yet soft. The fabric reminds me a little of seersucker that is worn in the summer. It has some give to it, so you can nestle it in a carry-on, your purse, or throw it in your checked bag. I am not a girlie-girl, but I will admit to loving this particular shade of vibrant pink. It is uplifting. Being able to select one with my initial made it feel custom, but at a fraction of the cost or time required for having my local seamstress add it. The case has several compartments, meaning I can add makeup brushes to the top zippered area and keep the shadows, blushes, etc. in the bottom section. Helps me keep my brushes cleaner and easier to find with less chance of breakage. The sections are easy to wipe clean and appear to be waterproof. Can be collapsed for storage if needed. I wish it came in additional colors, as I wouldn't mind having another pouch to use for pieces of jewelry or charging cables. Currently, I use a leather pouch, but this one is much cuter and less serious. I can think of many other uses for a bag of this size and excellent quality. It could be used for artist paintbrushes, sewing supplies like scissor and thread, kids' back-to-school pencil box, etc. Last, I tried out my silicone travel bottles in this pouch (not included and shown for size purposes only) and am happy to report that you can get a lot of containers in this pouch. See photos for examples using a set I ordered from Amazon. Love when things unexpectedly fall into place. Highly recommend for yourself, bridesmaid gifts, going off to college purchase, or even because even "maturing" women like me just want something fun yet useful when heading out on another flight.

We got this as a gift for our 10-year-old niece, but instead of using it as a makeup bag we're filling it with art supplies. We put in a 24-pack of colored pencils, a 12-pack of paint markers, and a pair of half-size craft scissors, and there's still plenty of room left for her to add whatever else she wants. The two-level design works really well for this. There's enough separation that she can keep different types of supplies organized without everything ending up in one big compartment, but the storage isn't so specific that she's locked into using it a certain way. There are also catch-all mesh pockets that give her some flexibility as her collection changes. I was also pleasantly surprised by the construction. The stitching and embroidered initial are clean, the seersucker exterior and vegan leather piping feel well put together, and even the zippers have a little extra attention to detail with branded pulls painted to match the pink bag.
