Love this so far

Newbie here. I have not built anything like this. Having said that I probably should’ve went with a beginner one, but what fun would that be? So I am only on step 21 but I feel that’s far enough to give a review. I have loved all of it so far and have not really had any problems with the directions which look very confusing at first. If you’re stuck on something just go back through everything cause you’re probably just missing it. It took me a minute on one section to realize I was looking for a template so I needed to be in the paper section and not the section so just take your time. The quality seems good to me, but as I said, I have nothing to compare it to. My only thing that I’ve hated and would change and suggest that you do different thus far is the flip-flops. You will have to make four sets of flip-flops and it is the worst. Take it for me go to the store. Buy some Barbie shoes and call it a day the amount of time that it takes you to go get the Barbie shoes will be shorter than it is to make the shoes and they will look 1 million times better. This is the only thing I seen so far that they need to make an adjustment on. Because they are having you make them out of felt and I think they could adjust used wood or cardboard for the flip-flop and it would’ve been way better easier and prettier. So if you even know how to use balsa wood or something I would suggest that. That’s it that’s my only complaint so far like I said I’m not to the house part. I’m just building flowers and shelves and books and logs and those wretched shoes but I do suggest you purchase this even for a beginner.

Very challenging but worth the effort

This kit was so much fun, and I love how it turned out. It is the most complicated kit I have ever done and took me several weeks working on it maybe one or two evenings a week. You make practically everything out of tiny beads, wires, fabric, foil, etc., all materials and templates provided. Requires a lot of gluing and cutting, although the board pieces are sturdy and punch out, you have to cut out wallpaper, flooring, rugs, etc.to glue on wood pieces. It is a whole mini house with quaint living room, kitchen, bedroom, attic, and bathroom. Lots of moss and flowers to construct, although I didn’t use all of them because I liked a less cluttered look. This is not a kit for beginners or children younger than teens. I love the finished house. I felt like U got my money’s worth on this kit.

Enjoyable and easy to follow directions

Enjoyable! Fun. Stress releaser. Directions are easy to read and follow. I have completed a few miniature buildings. The one thing I really like about this one is you build the accessories, then immediately build the piece of furniture they go on. You are completing the whole piece instead of creating the little things all at once, then the furniture, then try to figure what goes on what and where. Very good quality materials. Exactly as described in size. I think this one is adorable. Not all the way finished just yet. But I am loving this one.

It was perfect for me and my 11 year old girl

This was a lot of fun to build and it is very realistic if you do it slow. The parts can get tedious. I did it with my 11 year old daughter. It is perfect for a girl that age. It took about a week to build. About 40 hours, or so. We used it for a school project. Also, it is best to buy crazy glue. Do not try to build this with the low quality glue that it comes with.
