So I'm a self-employed chic, and when I'm home my MacBook Air (15" screen) sits up on another stand I previously purchased from Amazon (it's the kind with the arm that attaches to my desk)... needless to say, that thing is not coming off of my desk for any reason at all. However when I need a change of scenery -- back deck, local coffee shop, etc, I have found I don't like my laptop sitting directly on the table, as it sets too low for my comfort. I love this portable stand, because now I can take it with me & my laptop is elevated & is so much more comfortable for me (mostly for my neck and back) as I'm not crunched over the laptop. It's good quality, I have not had a problem with it not staying in place or falling over. In addition, there are these little grips that help the laptop stay put once it's on the stand. Also the angle can be adjusted, so you can get the laptop right in the position you need it to be. It's soooo easy to use, just unfold, place on the table or desk, put your laptop on top. Then when you are done, it folds up nicely in my backpack to take back home with me. I find this reasonable on price, soooo worth the price of $16 (price when I reviewed this item). I would buy again, I would recommend.

Great stand of work.
This laptop stand does exactally as advertised. I ordered this to keep my iPad/keyboard combo propped up at work when I need access to it. It is super easy to adjust it to where you need it and I love that it is super slim. I can easily fold it up , throw it in my work bag and take it to and from work without it taking up too much space. When I have it at my desk, the stand is quite stable, keeping my iPad in place. I haven’t had any issues with it or the iPad sliding off of desk. The color of the stand itself is quite aesthetically pleasing with the metallic finish. it would go well with any and all office decor.

Good quality item with excellent adjustability. Adjustability was my priority, so I’m pleased with the product. The stability of the stand is good, but it is not quite as stable as a solid stand. Overall, good value for the cost.
