The strong suction, the way it does not get caught on obstacles easily, the app control via WiFi, and the slim design all deliver exactly what I was hoping for. Adding this vacuum took about a minute and then I could start, pause, schedule runs, and change modes right from my phone. It feels like everything is in one place instead of another gadget I have to manage separately. The very slim design is what makes this thing special. It glides under my baby’s crib, the ottoman, and other low furniture where dust and crumbs usually build up. This is my third robot vacuum and it REALLY good. The other two I had did a reasonable job of vacuuming, but I did not want a vacuum that used a camera to map the rooms so they both just wandered around. That worked OK but there were also always little issues, like remembering to block off entry to any area we didn't want it going. This one has a little lidar sensor on the top that spins around during the mapping phase and it figures out the layout of the room. Then you can easily edit that layout on your phone to set any areas off-limits, or break areas into different rooms so you could have it clean one room one day, and a different room the next. The robot will sense the surface it's on and adjust the suction appropriately, for instance moving from a tiled surface to a carpet, you can hear the motor kick up a notch on the carpet. The automatic emptying is also a great feature, and it works really well! Overall it's not too noisy, it was easy to program, and it's been doing an excellent job keeping our floor clean. It's a much better value than I expected to be honest, it's got everything you need in a vacuum that costs half what the competitor vacuums cost!
