Customer reviews

Great little cleaner!
This is my first robot vacuum with a mopping option. My first product, a Deebot still works but has needed service and recently a new battery. I moved into a new home with all wood & ceramic tile floors on the first floor. With all the sanding & painting we needed to do, the floors were always dusty and gritty even after a swiffer cleaning. My Deebot cleaned pretty well but I wanted the floor washed. I had an opportunity to buy this mop combo with a discount so I bought it after reading the reviews. If nothing else I would have a backup if the older one died again. It was easy to get started. It came quickly and almost fully charged from what I could tell. I plugged in the charger and let it charge for about 20 minutes and then set it loose. I was leaving the house for a while so I cleared everything out of the way. Easy to do in the living room since our furniture had not yet arrived. I filled it with tap water and watched it for a few minutes. I liked how it cleaned back and forth in parallel lines unlike my Deebot that went all over in a random pattern. At first I could not see the wetness but after a few seconds could easily see where it the floor had been mopped. We then left the home to hope for the best. When I came back home the living floor looked great! I forgot to close the bedroom door so I found it in my master bathroom on the rug. Oops! I emptied the dust bin and checked on the water. Very little water was used. The dust bin had a surprising amount in it since I thoroughly vacuumed before I started the mop. I returned it to the charger. Next time I will make sure to close the bathroom door and not worry about any prep of the floor since it did both jobs at the same time beautifully. I did not yet add the app and use the wi-fi function but will try that soon. One thing I missed from my Deebot was a pocket on the charger to store the remote. This one came with 2 AAA batteries for the remote and an extra set of replacement side brushes as well as one extra filter. Hopefully I will have many cleanings with my new robot.

For the price it’s a lot better than I expected
While I’m on unit #2, I have been very surprised and happy with it. The first one got lost and ran out of battery power on the second day of use, but then would not start back up. It said it was charging but after 18 hours of charging it still wouldn’t restart. The second one I’ve used daily since it arrived, day four of having one, and I haven’t had any issues with it. My only complaint is that it doesn’t pick up objects larger than a grain of sand. I do landscaping and end up bringing materials from the job sites on my shoes into the house and the vacuum doesn’t get everything. With that said though, we are testing it against my mother in law’s Roomba (a $500 unit). We ran the Roomba and cleaned the out our current one, then started running our current one to see how much it picks up that the Roomba missed, if any. We plan to do this for a week. We will see and I will update this review when the trial is finished. So after several weeks of the testing we found that the they miss about the same amount. The Roomba seems to handle larger items better than this one (leaves and such). So we decided to run the Roomba more and use this one for spot cleaning. I ended up having to cut the floor out of my bathroom to replace rusted pipes and decided to see what this one would do with out a filter. It was cheap so why not play with it? Without the filter it sucked up the sawdust (I used a chainsaw to cut the floor out) extremely well. So I decided to put the foam filter back in but not the other one. I’ve been running it like this for a week and love the results. It traps all but the finest of the dust and still sucks up all of the larger stuff it missed before. Very pleased with the results. Six month update, it’s still going strong even with only using the foam filter. We don’t run it daily and soon it is going to get moved out to a smaller house we have on our property just to aid in cleaning there while I remodel it. I often think about buying several of these to just sit and wait for this one to crap out, but would only do so if the price was right.

Great reasonably priced vacuum+mop combo
After 6 years of service my ancient robot vacuum cleaner stopped working, so I bought a new one. For my 50% hardwood, 20% tile and 30% carpet floors, I definitely want a vacuum+mop combo. For cleaning under my low profile Japanese style bed, I need a super low profile device. I don't need a brushroll because I hate cleaning hair wrapped around it, and I have no pets. I don't care whether the robot builds a map of my house or not. I don't care how long it takes to clean the floors because normally I start the robot only when I leave the house for more than an hour. This reasonably priced vacuum+mop robot meets absolutely all my requirements! Note that vaccum robots are generally _not_ intended for deep cleaning. But compared to my old robot, this new robot has a much higher suction power, so it cleans more effectively, this is visible with the bare eye. It also has a larger water container and improved water dispenser that keeps the mopping pad wet for longer and makes mopping more effective. This robot is also more compact and lightweight. I was really happy with my old robot, but this new generation robot is even better! I only wish it lasts for 6 years as the old one.

Great cleaning robot for the price
Easy to set up, easy to do pretty much everything. My only complaint is how easily it snags cord and wires, but that is easily remedied by keeping any wires from dragging the floor, even behind your couch. The low profile design allows this lil guy to go everywhere. We have a 115 pound doggo who sheds a lot, so the first time I ran the vacuum it needed to be emptied many times during the first run. Now I run it once a day, and empty it twice while it is running, and again when it returns to the charging station. Works great on our hardwood floors, not great at all on our rug, or our indoor welcome mat. The vacuum doesn't pick up large stuff very well, but it does great for dog hair and any dust. I've not used the mop function though, so I can't be much help on that end.
