Worth it: Great features for allergy sufferers and people who don't clean enough
Overall, this is a great vacuum. My criteria for purchasing a vacuum was that it is self-emptying and has a mop feature to help contain dust without exposing me to allergens, and that it can pickup hairs and dirt on the vinyl floors and carpet. This vacuum does all of the above. App: 5/5. The customization of maps, sections, rooms, no-go areas, and cleaning settings is great. The AI chatbot for answering questions is helpful. Finding things on the app could be more intuitive though. Autonomous navigation: 4/5. This vacuum navigates the house and obstacles decently. It gets stuck on the horizonal floor legs of my desk, on an unusually thick shag rug, sometimes on cords, and often gets wrapped up in any clothes or cloths left on the floor. But this would probably be an issue with any vacuum, and on uncluttered hard floors and low carpets and rugs it works fine. If you leave light weight things on the ground, it will push them around because they aren't heavy enough to push the obstacle sensor, but overall it doesn't fight with your obstacles too much. If you pause it in the middle of functioning and then restart it later, it forgets the specific scheduled task it was doing and just starts cleaning the whole house. Cleaning performance: 4/5. It usually picks up all the dust and dirt and hairs (though the human hairs mostly get caught in the roller, sometimes requiring scissors to get off). Every week the the bag is full of dust. Periodically it leaves heavier things that get pushed around, but not too much. Mopping feature does what I expected, which is not to mop the floor in the traditional sense that would cleanup sticky messes, but to simply wet it and run a cloth across it to pickup excess dust. This works as expected. Sometimes it mops rubber floor mats though. The noise levels of the vacuum itself is not too loud, even when it increases suction while going over carpet or per your settings. Self-emptying: 4/5. Overall a great feature. It works most of the time. The first time I used the vacuum it didn't empty at all, but it was completely full of dust (I recommend a manual cleaning before starting to use this to maintain the clean - I had clumps of dust under my bed) but since then it has worked fine. Sometimes it doesn't empty all the way. Sometimes it says the bag that it empties into is full when it is only halfway full (the dust may be blocking the input hole). It's not going to empty the hairs because they get wrapped up on the roller and cleaning bristles. When it empties it is SUPER loud, so don't put it in your home office (it will interrupt your meetings) or let it run at night! My only issue annoyance is that these bags are not easy to empty and reuse: they should have a zipper so you can easily dump it in the trash can (currently you have to try to pull the dirt out of a tiny input hole). There's no way I'm buying new bags every week or two. Battery life: 4/5. It cannot clean my entire house in one go. Maybe 75% max of my 3 bedroom house. I guess I was expecting more. But since I can schedule different rooms/sections with charging time in between, it still gets everything done in the day. Would I buy this vacuum again? Yep. My floors stay clean, I'm not bringing dirt from my feet to my bed, there's undoubtedly less dust in my house, and I'm not the one who has to vacuum and mop. It's also making me keep my floors free of loose clothing and cords, so my house looks cleaner.

Clean floors and offended pets
My cats are now plotting my demise, and the dog may be helping??. I have clean floors, and they are finally working together! Sooo... totally worth it! If you have indoor cats, at some point you have to deal with litter. Litter, is the bane of my existence. The rage I feel when I walk around my home and feel it on my feet, makes me continually question my own sanity. So I got this little guy! Simple solution, right? Oh boy was I WHOLLY unprepared for the chaos and then hilarity that this decision would cause. The setup was simple, this little guy comes with everything you would need to set it up. There is an app, and a remote. It also comes with 2 collection bags, 2 brushes, and two mop pads. As well as the mop attachment, and a cleaning brush. While putting it together, my two feline overlords watched from the remnants of the open box. Curiously waiting to see what happens. I set it up to charge fully, and after about an hour, started it for an initial mapping and cleaning. Chaos ensued. The moment the vacuum started, both of my cats (who were nose to nose with it and in the process of inspecting this new gadget) ran screaming and scrambling into my room knocking over the trash, litter container, and hamper to then dive under my bed. Where they soon found out, was not in fact safe. More yelling and running and hiding under things occured. Only for them to be found by said vacuum, and the cycle continued. When they both finally realized the safest place was not in fact on the ground, the name of the game became "the floor is lava". This meant they had to stay off the floor for the 45 minutes it takes to clean, while also diligently tracking this new threat as it moves from room to room. I did not know they could walk on the doorframe and curtain rods. Nor did I know the could launch themselves from my room, across the hallway to their room without touching the ground. Ever seen a furry missile going mach-speed through a doorway? Eeyup. Terrifying. Their new acrobatics are impressive though. We affectionately named it "Nephthys. The Feline's Nemisis." It handles their insistent bappings well while navigating the multiple rooms it cleans and both of my furry little terrorist's assaults. The daily routine that can be set up using the app is keeping my floors clean of the litter that tracks from one end of the house to the other somehow (I blame the after-potty zoomies for this one) and keeping my sanity intact. The ability to sense carpet makes it nice for the small area rugs I have, and the ability to up the suction in some areas definitely helps pull all the nasty out. This is to the direct chagrin of my pup who is so rudely awakened from his 4pm nap when it does the second daily scheduled cleaning. His agrivated grumbles and death stare as he had to now move from his sunny spot was just the start of his passive aggressive attempts at making me feel bad. I have not yet used the mop feature, but they are machine washable, so that is definitely nice. Especially when the cats seem to be purposely spilling any unattended cups on the floor, then chasing the dog through... it tracking it all over. Overall, I like it so far. If anything changes, I will update this review. Unless I'm taken out by the three of them for introducing this new evil to the house.

I can't believe I waited this long to get a robot vacuum
I resisted the whole robot vacuum thing so long that Roomba came and almost went in the meantime. Now, there are a ton of brand names that promise more performance for less money. Uninell is one of those names. I first heard about Uninell while watching a video review of another popular brand: Dreame. The reviewer loved the Dreame, but ended up buying the Uninell. She said that specs aren't everything, and the Uninell had better cleaning performance and easier performance for the money. The price was amazing, as Amazon had a $40 off coupon at the time. That put the value off the charts. The unit comes packaged extremely well. The manufacturer packaging was a double box, and that was inside an Amazon box. The onboarding sheet, quick guide, and owner's manual are all well-illustrated with excellent English. Downloading the app and connectivity to the network was easy. None of that crazy connecting to a temporary Wi-Fi network created by the unit, like so many other smart devices force you to do. Durability seems like it will be good, but I've had the unit only a week. It does a good job avoiding obstacles, but you will want to get power cords off the floor. (But that's a good idea with any type of vacuum.) The unit spends around 30 minutes mapping the house, then announces, in a voice that's too loud yet too muffled, that it's ready to clean. Battery life is enough to clean my 1500 square-foot apartment with plenty of battery to spare. You can choose to vacuum, or vacuum and mop. It does its job quietly and got all the cat hairs and dust bunnies. It does a fantastic job cleaning those nuisances around chair legs and table legs. The self-emptying feature, in my opinion, is a necessity. Maintenance is easier than I expected. You can turn on notifications, which I did. The vacuum announced to both my iPhone and Apple Watch that it was charging, cleaning, finished, etc. The two-year warranty, once you register, is generous. It gives me confidence in the product's stability. This is a ton of performance and sophistication for less than $300. Five stars, highly recommended.

My opinion for both hard floor and carpet
I love this robot vacuum! It has cleaned my house multiple times at this point so here are my thoughts. I use the app to make it function and to set my preferences for the different rooms. It connected to my wifi no problem. It works great! It cleans my linoleum no problem. Sucks up everything it needs to and does a great job. As long as your mats are heavy enough or stuck to the ground, this vaccuum goes over them no problem. I don't use the mop accessory so I cant comment on that. As far as carpet, it still works well. The auto boost works fine but i just set it to max for all the carpeted areas by default. It doesn't pickup every single thing every time. That could just be due to my type of carpet though. I typically just have it do the same room again and it will typically pick up anything it left behind the first time. I have long hair and 3 pets so I love how it picks up all the hair. It will get stuck in the roller brush though. I just clean it out once after its done the whole home. Not enough of a hassle to remove any stars. It is amazing at maneuvering around the home. It will get stuck on cords but that's all I've had a problem with so far. I just make sure to pick up any clothes or pet toys before it cleans. The self emptying and charging have worked great for me as well. No problems or major complaints so far!
