I've only had this for four days and in the photos, you can see the amount of dirt, hair, a debris it's already picked up. I recently moved into a new apartment that wasn't entirely clean. On top of that, I have 3 cats. I send this out once a day and my apartment floors are spotless. It's super effective in cleaning up cat hair clumps--I have a persian cat and she sheds fiercely. I watched as this little dude sucked up a clump of cat hair like it was dinner. For the price, there is no mapping, but I set it out into the world that is my apartment without paying attention and I come back and I'll see that a problem spot is no more. It picks up cat liter as well which is HUGE. If you own cats who kick liter out of the liter box, you know the importance of this. I use the pellets and this guy got them. He get's a little lost sometimes but he always finds his way to the debris--just let him do what he needs to do. The app is easy to install and while there are a lot of bad reviews on the app store, I've had no issues. CONS: 1. It's a little loud. I personally don't care if it means I have to sweep less. I consider it white noise. 2. I'm not sure if it's the building/furniture, but he has a hard time navigating back to the charging port. I have to pick him up and place him directly next to it for him to find his resting place. I'm used to this with my persian cat who sometimes looks lost when I fill the food bowls and she wants to eat. For the cost, 100% worth it, especially if you live somewhere older where dirt/dust can seep into the cracks if you don't sweep the entire place every single god **** day. I think I'll name him Bottleneck.
