Excellent Tumbler!
After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant to order, but the good reviews convinced me that there was much more going for this tumbler than going against it. I ordered the Harvest (yellow/brown, reminds me of Dijon mustard) color, 20 oz. and it is really nice. The transparent Amber colored lid is really attractive and well made. Pros: A large sip hole! Nearly every mug/tumbler that I've purchased has a tiny sip hole, which makes it impossible to get a nice, hearty sip or gulp, probably due to a vent hole that is too small. I assume the sip hole was made larger on this tumbler than most so that you could use a straw, but why would you want to use a straw if the hole is big enough to drink comfortably from? A straw is just something extra to have to carry along. One of the reviews said that they could not drink hot liquids out of the tumbler with the lid on it because you would easily burn or scald your tongue and lips. I would say that if you drink with the lid on thinking that it is like most all of the other lids that you've sipped from, then yes, you could probably burn yourself. Because of the larger than normal sip hole, think of this as a normal cup of hot liquid, and drink from it the same way that you would drink any hot liquid from a cup. I have not had any problem at all with drinking hot coffee from this mug/tumbler. A screw-on lid! It makes no sense whatsoever to purchase a tumbler that doesn't have a screw-on lid. It almost guarantees a leak-free experience. And if a tumbler with a screw on lid does leak, it is most likely because the user tries to screw the lid on so tightly, that it warps the gasket! If you have trouble removing a screw-on lid, that should be a warning to you that you have screwed it on way too tightly. When screwing it on, as soon as you encounter resistance, stop screwing the lid on! that means it has made contact with the silicone gasket and has been sealed. To tighten it any further runs the risk of warping the seal which will inevitably lead to leaks! The sip hole cover locks down really snugly. Unlike some covers that you can just pop open with your thumb or finger, this one takes a little effort, and that is how it should be, if you expect to not have a spill if the tumbler happens to fall over. This should be considered a feature, not a fault. If you can readily pop the lid with your thumb or finger, then you should not be surprised if it pops open when the tumbler is accidentally knocked over onto a hard surface! The ceramic coating is thin but I believe with a little care, it should be just fine. I wouldn't use metal utensils to stir with but that is just me. For my purposes (hot coffee or iced tea) stirring is not necessary anyway. The 20 oz. size is easy to hold on to. I have average sized hands and do not ever see a need for a handle for this tumbler. And it fits the cup holder in my truck just fine. As to how long it will keep hot liquids hot, I really can't say. I only put 16 ounces of coffee in it at any one time and I drink coffee fairly fast, so I can only say that the coffee stays quite hot until I finish it, normally a couple of hours before it's time for a refill. The silicone bottom is a nice touch. It is quiet and the tumbler feels very strong and secure when you set it on a table or desk. I have no problem recommending this tumbler. The price is unbeatable for a mug/tumbler of this quality, in my opinion, and easily stands its own against the higher priced Yeti.

Ceramic Liner is a game changer. Love this thing!
The BEST insulated cup ever! Better than a Yeti in ever way! I own both and I almost never touch the Yeti anymore. Rather wash this than grab the clean Yeti. It's completely spill proof, you can turn it upside down and it will not leak a drop. Starting at the top: The lid screws on instead of the press fit that relies on the seal. The seal itself is clear so it's easy to see where it's dirty and it's easier to verify that it's clean. The lid's cap flips backwards. It's not as slick as the magnetic slide, but seals much better. Probably why it keeps temps so well. The liner is ceramic. It's a game changer. It's honestly amazing and definitely the selling point of this cup. I drink a lot of loose leaf tea and every little variable can change the taste. The ceramic liner of this cup takes a variable away. Much like glass, it's inert and imparts no taste to whatever you're drinking. Also like glass, it's extremely easy to clean. The ceramic wipes clean with very little effort. It's completely smooth and so hard you can't scratch it. Tea can stain easily. The white color of this cup also makes it easy to verify you've cleaned it. The outside paint is is great too. Very durable. You don't have to be super careful with it. Lastly, at the bottom, it has has a rubber pad. It's nonslip and helps make the cup quiet when you set it down on a hard surface. For a night owl like me, this is more important than it sounds. (pun somewhat intended lol) The size/capacity are perfect. It's easy to hold and use, and it fits in every cupholder. It's also lightweight. It's pretty much perfect. I expect to continue using it daily for many years to come. If I do somehow break it or loose it, I will buy another immediately. If you can't tell, I'm a little in love with this thing and take it with me pretty much everywhere I go to support my tea addiction.

Best Tumbler
I was looking for a tumbler that was ceramic lined and not stainless steel when I finally found this brand. I ordered 2 just to try them out and within a week ordered more! I like to have a variety of colors to match my outfits lol. Anyways, the ceramic lining makes the water taste cleaner and more refreshing. It keeps ice longer than a more expensive brand that I had been using for over ten years. I even took it down on beach with me in 90+ degree heat and still had a full cup of ice at the end of the day. The lid also seals better. I like that it screws on and doesn’t just pop on in case I drop it, that way the lid doesn’t come off and water doesn’t go everywhere like it did with another brand. It feels a lot lighter with it being ceramic as well. I like that it doesn’t have a handle as I have carpel tunnel and so this design makes it so my wrist isn’t being pulled down. The color, shape, design, materials, not to mention the price, make this tumbler number 1 out of all I’ve tried.

Well made 20 oz mug with ceramic lining
I LOVE this mug! The ceramic lining really does make a difference in taste (instead of a stainless steel interior) - especially with tea. I have large hands so the mug is just the right width for me to hold comfortably. Hot tea stays hot for hours in it, even in my bedroom where I don’t turn the heat up very often. The design is cheerful - Mistletoe branches painted on a white background, the lid screws on tightly, and the mug capacity is a plentiful 20 ounces. This is the second mug I’ve purchased from RTIC. I recommend this manufacturer and its products.
