Application : I have a long drive way that I wanted to spiff up and make sure was safe so I strung 200 ft of 1/8th SS cable and two turnbuckles . With this support rope , it could easily span the distance otherwise there would have been too much sag Pros : - individual clips on each bulb to attach to support rope - plastic bulbs so no fear of breakage - bright -led so less power consumption than incandescent Cons - clips are easily broken if bent too far - plastic bulbs vulnerable to scratching Conclusion: Great value . Bright . Can’t comment on longevity but will be buying more for the backyard soon to replace the Walmart crap . Low energy use as I have it on my WiFi plugs

Perfect for our pool lighting!
I love these lights! I specifically looked for plastic bulbs to hang over the pool. They are plugged into a surge protector and plugged into a gfci plug that runs the pool. We wanted the shatterproof bulbs because of the pool and dimmable for use when we are not wanting it to be so bright. They were very easy to hang and lightweight. We did use a kit with a cable for outdoor lighting. And we got the dimmer kit to use with it. Be sure to take precautions over water with the cable for outdoor lighting kit, the surge protector and GFCI plug. Overall- extremely pleased!

Bought to hand aound the perimeter of back porch awning. Used ordinary exterior christmas light hangers to hang. This improved the lighting of the patio that has a table and grilling area. The bulb size and spacing worked fine. i like the LED bulbs, there was one extra in the box. Will see how long it lasts, but have had for about six months and it's an improvement to the back yard living area. We enjoy just looking out the back patio door and seeing the lighting and it adds a welcoming touch when people come by.
