I Love this bag as much as “The Mooch” loves (loved?) Trump!
I absolutely love this leather messenger bag. I love it so much I could overdo it with what I love about it (like my headline lol) but I’ll try to stay level headed. Truly though, this bag is very pretty and has great quality both in the materials used and crafting of it. I had just bought one (messenger bag) locally for the same price and then saw this one on Amazon but didn’t want to return it until this one arrived so I could compare them and immediately after opening the box I knew my local bag was going back. My locally bought one was black and fake leather (pleather) and yet it was the same price. It was ok but just no match for this one. The color is so pretty and happened to match my iPad cover so it all looks very professional for when I’m going to a meeting. Aside from appearance being better than the other bag it also held my iPad Pro 10.5 “ perfectly, much better than the other one where it barely had room for the iPad and it stuck out the top a little, so that also made it win over the other bag. The inside of this bag is also well made and soft so it won’t scratch anything you put into it. It has a few zipper pockets too which are just right for the little credit card wallet that I carry and a few pens etc. The length of the strap is perfect for me (5’3) to have it crossbody and rest on my hip and the strap adjusts too. The buckles in front are nice and can be locked or left open. I like that I can latch them in case I’m on public transportation and this would definitely keep hands out of the bag and keep ebetthig secure. The only downside for some may be that It’s got a pretty slender opening, opens only a few inches but I can easily fit my iPad in it as well as my phone (iPhone 7 plus), wallet and any paperwork I’m carrying with me so this isn’t a downdside for me. For others this may not be wide enough and it won’t stretch. I’m attaching pictures so you can see the more about the width and the beauty of this bag. Bottom line opinion is that this bag is simply gorgeous and I’m glad I got it. Well worth the money, especially for such a high quality leather they have used. This bag is so well made it should last forever for me and have no issues. *and before I get mean comments I hope my review headline didn’t upset you, not trying to be political or picking a side, it’s just when I thought of how much I really Love this bag and how much I said it to my husband “I love this bag!, I mean I really love it, it’s the best bag I’ve gotten I’m years” and how he started teasing me asking me “so, how do you like your new purse?” I suddenly thought of myself as the Mooch when he was taking about Trump when he became communications director. 😂 Nothing wring with loving something! Lol

Great bag for your daily commute!
This is a really nice bag for your day to day travels! I can fit all of my smaller items in it easily, including my tablet. The product, as per usual with Rustic Town, came wrapped in a protective plastic so it wouldn't scuff and scratch during transit. They also wrapped all the brass fittings to keep them from moving and getting damaged during shipping. I mention this because while it may take an extra minute or two to unwrap it and stuff, it's pretty darned smart to protect your product for shipping like this. The leather is heavier than the other Rustic Town products I've purchased and it feels really nice! The finish on it is smooth and rich feeling and looking. The underside of the strap is finished with the same smooth texture. This makes for a nice looking, comfortable strap unlike the ones that are finished on one side and raw on the other. The interior of the top flap is backed with a nice, sturdy canvas. I really like this because with other bags I'd worry about constant wear and tear on the underside of the top flap from removing items and putting them back all the time. The canvas backing is all the way through the inside of the bag and it's really going to make for a sturdier bag that's hard to damage. There are lots of interior pockets for a smaller bag like this. Three divided pockets and then two zip pockets. I'm looking forward to using this as that will make organizing my day to day items a lot easier and keep them separate while in transit between work and home. The strap closure for the front of the bag is REALLY secure. It hold the top closed with a buckle closure that's really sturdy. The straps themselves are riveted to the top flap. There is no chance these are going to come loose. They also have the added benefit of holding the top flap down really well. There are two loops below the buckles to hold the straps down so they don't flop around while you're moving too! They really think of all the details when they put these together. The bottom line, as with most of these Rustic Town products, is that this is a superior quality leather bag for a really reasonable price. The stitching, the leather, the accents and hardware, they're all great! If you need a smaller hip bag/messenger style bag, this is a great option! This is going to be really great for my daily train ride to work!

Great messenger bag style but a little too refined. Would like a bit more worn look on the leather.
I like the bag a lot and use it almost everyday. It’s the perfect size for an iPad Pro 11 inch with the Apple Magic Keyboard attached. It is good, thick, durable leather and no doubt will last a long time. I also like the hidden magnetic clasps that eliminate the need to deal with buckles. But for my tastes I would like the leather finish a bit more rugged and worn looking instead of the highly refined “purse-like” appearance. When I got it I tried to roll and crumple the bag and the flap up tightly to put some wrinkles and character into it. Maybe I’ll tie it to the back of the car and drag it around the block a few times. :) I don’t think this is the kind of leather finish that I can use chemical treatments on to make it look older and worn. But overall I’m very happy with it. I wish they made the identical bag in a worn and slightly distressed look, but I think it’s still a 5 star product.

Great and Looks Good. Would have been better if it is 1-inch wider
It looks great. Its slim size is a big plus. I can have it across my body and do everyday things and don't feel it. It is that comfortable. Because it is a cross-body style, I can leave it in my back most of the time, and I can quickly swing it to the front in congested area to avoid being pick-pocket. However, it would have been even better if its width is 1" bigger (or 2" taller). As of now, I cannot fit a letter-size magazine in it because the height of the magazine cannot quite fit inside. OK, I think even 1/2 inch bigger in width would have fit the magazine. I have to folder the magazine in half to have it fit inside -- but I cannot do this if the magazine is not mine (luckily most magazines that I read are all mine). Hope the vendor can come up with a slightly bigger version of this leather bag.
