Tool early for final judgement
I love almost everything about this bench. Very easy to put together. Looks amazing in the garden (even better when everything had leaves on them not around them) It is rustic, farm house chic so I do expect it to look shabby and weathered. However, I always spray the begeezus out of everything with Rustoleum and I have sprayed this 3 times! Before putting it together, and at any little spot that may have developed with any amount of weather. It's only been outside for a few weeks and has rust peeking through. I don't expect perfection by any means, I am a realist. I just hope it can withstand a bit of weather, I can not bring it inside every time it rains in the Pacific Northwest. That would not be remotely realistic. Hope it stands up to the test of time! Update: made it through the winter great! I thought we started on a little rough patch but we ended smoothly, pretty happy.
