The perfect box!
Beautiful box, but i think i should explain why i needed one in the first place. I wear hearing aids, i have two types of charging docking stations, one has a battery bank (with a lid) and the other just plugs in (no lid). I wanted to save the battery bank one because it's the (far) more expensive of the two and you only get so many charges before the battery bank dies all together (and it's wonderful for traveling or camping so really can't have that dying on me) the problem is i have a cat who is infatuated with anything that has my scent on it... guess what hearing aids have?? LOL yeah my scent, in spades and these are 5k in cost so i can't have my cat getting my hearing aids. My solution - get a box. Sounds simple right? Oh no... i had ordered other boxes all of them (3 in total) came broken (one was literally smashed to bits) which means they'd have been too flimsy to have drilled a hole in the back for the USB cord to go through. I almost gave up and then i found THIS box. It's the perfect size, perfect thickness, solid wood that handled getting a hole the size of a dime drilled out the back, the hinges are durable, every single thing about this box worked GREAT for this project - that it is beautiful is just icing on the cake. It looks stunning on my nightstand. No one else would ever know what goes in it and of course Mr. Nosey (cat) can't get in it at all LOL. While i don't have to use the latch on it but if you're looking for one with a solid latch this is of good quality!

This tree of life wooden jewelry box is beautiful! The detail is exceptional and it opens smoothly. I use it in my bathroom for hair ties. It’s the perfect size for holding many things. So far it has held up nicely, even in a humid bathroom.

I love this box. Very well made for hand made. The tree of life is beautifully carved. The mango wood is very nice. A little lock can be put on it for a personal items. Good buy.
