Impressive looks & build quality for the price, nice and sleek
All I wanted was a nice looking, thin, simple padfolio. No built-in calculator, no zippered pockets, no bulky internal organizers. Just something minimalistic with thin padding that won't take up a ton of room when all I need is a pad of paper and a way to keep it clean / dry. Luckily I found this little gem -- it's exactly what I wanted. Thin padding, so I don't feel like I'm carrying the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man around. Clean lines, so it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb. Just a few pockets. I'll update this review if things ever change, but right now I'm expecting to carry this thing for years and years to come. Oh, as other reviewers have pointed out, the elastic pen loop is sized to hold a thin pen (a Fisher Space Pen fits perfectly). Thicker ones, you can hang from the loop by their pocket clip -- if they're no thicker than something like a Pilot G2.

I just received this today. As soon as I got it out of the shipping container, I loved it. The two-toned cover is beautiful. The material is top-notch and soft enough to be leather. The first thing I checked was its ability to be opened while folding back - to save space and to make it easier to write on the pad, especially while its in your lap. The second thing I checked was the letter-sized legal pad included. It comes off cleanly, not the ragged top of the sheet I've experienced lately. And there is a spot for a pen. This is the best portfolio I've ever purchased. I hope it is sturdy enough to last a long time. I'm very impressed.

Wanted to look professional and organized for my interview and this was perfect. I like the discreet pockets where I kept my resume, keys, and phone so I didnt have to bring my purse. The color is nice and it looks expensive. I would recommend.

Excellent portfolio for the price. It is well constructed and the exterior has *just* the right amount of padding. The pockets are pliable and hold cards and documents securely. It's perfect for interviews and meetings.
