premium-feel binder that fit the aesthetic I needed!
I ordered this binder to use for my D&D notes. I initially used a leather journal, but found that I often had printouts and loose leaf notes I wanted to put into my collection. However, the only binders available locally are the cheapo plastic Avery ones (not to knock on Avery, but they aren't my personal choice), so I took to Amazon. The best thing about this binder is, of course, the aesthetic of it. I'm pretty sure the exterior isn't real leather, but it still feels nice and fancy. It smells very faintly, to the point where it's pleasant and not overpowering. Dimensions-wise, the binder perfectly holds my letter-sized page protectors ,and 3-hole-punched cardstock. I'm sure A4 pages could fit in this, too! I currently have around 75 pages (maybe more) of sheet protectors, plus around 20 sheets of cardstock, in the binder. Of course, there's still some space left, but I probably won't need a ton more. The clasps on the rings aren't the fanciest out there (I sometimes have to try a little bit more than normal to close them), but for the price point and the cool appearance overall I have no qualms. The two interior pockets (one at the front, one at the back) are big enough to hold a small notepad, or more than several extra sheets of paper. I also like to clip my pens and stuff to the exterior of the binder and it works pretty well since the cover is nice and sturdy! TL;DR: Totally worth it if you want an old-feel binder that doesn't cost as much as one of those genuine leather padfolios! Highly recommended.

FINALLY - the PERFECT Mini Notebook with the Perfect Ring Placement
In recent months I've been unable to find ANY notebook of any size that has a spine with cenetered ring placement. Manufacturers now offset the rings which is maddening -- when you grab for any one of them, they slip. They save money while we're stressed out in our attempts to merely handle them as we work -- BUT THIS SAMSIL MINI IS THE PERFECT CHOICE IN EVERY WAY: a little more costly, but everything about it is sturdy and well-made. I'm absolutely delighted, and I doubt that I'll ever have to replace it. Great buy if you want a quality product....
