Looks great, not tacky, can't beat it for the price!
I have only been using the attache for about a month now, but I love it. I'm a Detective and I use it every day. I get compliments about the case often. I would agree with other reviews that the leather might be a little cheap. I say that because the leather is very easily scratched, as I figured out on the first day. However, if you take care of it, and don't just throw it around, it looks like it will last. I used a conditioner/protector on mine the day I got it, after I slightly scratched it, which I would suggest doing because it will prolong the life of the case and prevent it from cracking and scratching as easily. You can't beat it for the price! I think it looks much more elegant than the other brief cases in the same price range. I didn't want tacky gold or bronze hardware so this case was perfect. I'm even thinking about buying a second one.

Holds up really well
I bought one of these in December 2012 and have been using it every day to carry my stuff from home to work. I usually stuff it with papers, a few books, pens and erasers and such. It has held up very well considering I am extremely rough with it. One latch broke about six months ago and I brought it to a Samsonite dealer who replaced it for free, as it was sill under the three year warranty. The leather on the handle is just now starting to fray a bit, and the leather on the bottom corners are starting to show some wear, but for $65, and considering how rough I am with it, I have to say I think it is very well made. I've let my kids know they can buy me another one for my birthday next January, by which time I can probably use a new one.

I was really sold on the interior filing system that makes this more like a portable office than just a folio for paperwork.
