Fancy pen for work
This one is a very elegant and an expensive looking pen but it's not (shh..) I did not realize this came with two nibs and two converters although they are shown in the pictures. I think I was obsessed with the "samurai" in the name and the dark red color. I have not tried the Bociyer brand ink although I went ahead and bought extra carts for the other 6 pens I purchases along with this one. This one offers what I call medium weight which should be comfortable for any hands. Mine are on the small side. The grip is comfortable although the little indentions for fingers does mess with me a little. I like that they paired it with a copper/rose gold metal instead of gold or silver. As one reviewer stated it does not post if you decide to turn your pen upside down, but will stay on as your write. It doesn't bother me to not post since it adds more weight to the pen. I had no feedback on using this pen although I prefer the bent nib since it offers more line variation. If your nib is a little on the scratchy side there are things you can do to fix that problem (Youtube should have a solution). I heard either light grit sandpaper or steel wool to the effect. Look it up, I'd hate to help you ruin your nib. I had a nice ink flow with this one as well. I didn't get too much ink at a time. We'll see how long it lasts. In the photos the line variation on the left is with the bent nib and the right is the fine nib. I also wrote the info using the bent nib. These will also take a 3.4mm bore cart.

Replacement received
EDITED REVIEW: Is contacted by the seller who informed me there was some sort of production issue that resulted in some defective pens. They offered to send me a replacement, though not in the color I had wanted. Now that I've received the replacement I've come to change my review from 1 to 5 stars for both the excellent customer service and because the replacement pen writes beautifully. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've tried everything and this pen won't write. I tried ink cartridges. Nope. I tried an ink converter. Nope. I tried different types of paper in case it just didn't get along with that for some reason. Nope. I tried different brands of bottled ink in case that might be the problem. Nope. The ink just can't flow and behaves like a pen that has run out of ink (but there's definitely plenty because I just filled it!). Even pushing ink through until it drips from the nib doesn't help. This disheartens me because it feels good to hold and is attractive to look at, but that's all it's good for, apparently. This one will sadly go into the pen cup and never come out. Waste of money...

Great, hefty pen for the price
This is a really great kit for under $20! I am not a fountain pen expert but as a beginner this is an excellent starter pen. The contoured grip helps insure that my hand is in the right position. I'm using the ink it came with along with the medium nib and it is incredibly smooth after some warm up scribbles otherwise it will skip. Fair warning you do have to press harder when using ink cartridges or else it will skip but that could probably be solved with using a higher quality ink with a better flow. Design wise it is heavier than other fountain pens I've tried which I find awesome! Overall, great pen with an even better value.

Excellent beginner pen.
This pen gives a surprisingly smooth write. The finger indention serves as a very helpful reminder of how to properly hold it. The ink flows very smoothly. I have not run into any situation where I need to press overly hard or resposition the angle of the nib to facilitate inkflow. The ink does not bleed through typical notebook paper, so I use it for everyday writing where only a ballpoint best served before. I'm not sure if that's the quality of the ink or the how well the pen dispenses it, but it's safe to write on thin paper. This is an excellent beginner pen. I plan to buy more.
