Description
- SCRABBLE CARD GAME: Slam is a little different than the traditional game of Scrabble. Slam is very fast-paced and everyone can play at once! - THE PLAY: Choose a 4 letter word to start play then deal out the remaining cards as evenly as possible. When everyone is ready - the action begins. Any player can play 1 letter card on top of the cards on the table to make a new word. For example: “CAKE” becomes “BAKE” which is turned into “BIKE” then switched to “LIKE” and so on. - THE WIN: Players continue placing cards as quickly as possible forming new words until someone plays their last card for the win! - TRAVEL SIZED: It's a card game - of course you can fit it into your carry-on or even a purse! - PALETTE CLEANSER: Given that game play is very fast paced and goes by quickly, Scrabble Slam is an ideal "palette cleanser" in between longer gaming campaigns on game night!

Fast, fun, and easy to pack game!
This is a fun, fast-paced, easy to learn card game. The players agree on a 4-letter word at the beginning of the game, then the remaining cards are distributed among the players. Once the game begins, all players try to form new words by adding a new letter to the word (e.g. pint become lint). There are no turns, so everyone is quickly trying to play their cards by calling out each newly-formed word. The first player to use all their cards wins! This game is different from the cognitive challenge of forming words in the original Scrabble, which is a slower, more deliberate game. This is a fun alternative if you want something fast-paced and family-friendly, and would be perfect for road trips since it's easy to pack.

Fast paced, easy to learn, lots of fun and laughs
What a fun game! It's great for many age levels. I play it with my elderly mom. She is a true wordsmith! My only regret with this purchase is that I get my rear end handed to me every time I play against my mom...LOL. As a teacher, this would be a great game for center time, or for students to play in teams. It's fun and fast paced. Great for fine motor, OT, and maintaining cognitive wellness for seniors. Also, great for helping children learn and practice word patterns. Great for travel, restaurants, and game night.

Relaxed and Easy Go-to Card Game on Game night
Game arrived quickly and in great condition. Quality of cards is really good and seems like it’s will last for a long time. This game is pretty easy to get a hang of and though the word structure is either 4 or 7 letters (4 vertical and 4 horizontal) are simple they make you think while playing and come up with ways to using your consonants. My husband and I enjoy playing this on game night. If you love playing scrabble or even a beginner but want something simpler without the math then this is for you.
