Great blanket … even better customer service!
Update: Sealy and its licensees are on the right track and walking the walk. Yes, we had issues with the blanket.. without the problem I wouldn’t have a new found faith in corporate humanity! Sealy heard me and offered help anyway I’d prefer - very impressed! I loved the blanket but the customer service, corporate accountability, sincerity and accountability shown by Sealy is worth far more than any tangible good could ever be. I guess I expect the opposite and the blow review reflects that presumed disappointment and bitterness customers so often feel. I’ll be more optimistic moving forward and will apologize for my tone which was clearly uncalled for. Accountability is a two way street. Was great for the few months it lasted. Apparently it’s only machine washable once lol. We followed the instructions exactly and have washed it twice since we purchased. After the second wash … It no longer worked. :( Pretty disappointed. The controllers now read “E1” … no bueno. I feel like it should last longer than a few months or so. Please send us another one Amazon or Sealy. If not … machine washable is false advertising. Not cool. Was great for the few months it lasted. Apparently it’s only machine washable once lol. We followed the instructions exactly and have washed it twice since we purchased. Very happy with this blanket
After my Beautyrest died after a year I found this Sealy blanket. I ordered the Queen in beige which is actually a beautiful ivory/cream. It was easy to set up and works wonderfully. (I’m under it as I write this 😁). First the feel of it is so soft and luxurious. The channels on the top and fleece on the bottom give it substantial thickness and weight. No flimsiness here! The controls were a bit to get used to because they only stay lit for a moment, but it’s nice not having to cover up a glowing control in a dark room. Also setting the turn off time is great with half hour increments. The heating is uniform throughout the blanket, no hot or cold spots. Also there isn’t a cold channel down the middle as the Beautyrest had. Nice for a single sleeper. As far as heating, it gets much warmer than the Beautyrest so I have it on 2 or 3 then shut off is 2 1/2 hours later. No concerns of having it automatically turn on after a power outage which the BR did. Not good if you aren’t home! Overall, I am very happy with this Sealy blanket and hope it lasts for a very long time.

Fabulous. Very thick and heavy. Love the fleece lining. Love the plush top. Warms up quick. Well made. Love the control. One heavy duty sturdy control . The for full size IMO adequate for queen or king size. Long cord. What is not to like? I just ordered a second in different color for a family member. Sealy has good reviews. One note: I covered with a flannel sheet because it is so plush my cats will want to make biscuits on this blanket. If you have cats it is wise to cover with another blanket or sheet.
