This blanket has two heating zones that plug in at the end of the bed on each side. I was able to run the wires along the bed, plug it in behind headboard, and place each control unit on the night stands on each side. The control unit functions with two modes. One mode adjusts the heat intensity and the other is a timer. The heat intensity goes 1 low through 10 high. The automatic timer adjustment starts at a half hour and ends at 12 hours. It automatically shuts off the blanket. The blanket runs at 120 volts 100 watts 60 Hz The blanket feels of good quality with thin wires and a very soft plush feel. Overall, I think it's a pretty good value given the price point. I can't speak to durability as I've just received the blanket, however, if I have any concerns I will update my review. I highly recommend this blanket!!

I absolutely love this product! I have restless leg and cold feet and being able to adjust the heat and the timer separately are amazing. It’s a godsend in the winter. It feels so soft. There is no pilling with the fabric, and the quality is spot on. This would make an amazing gift to others that are really cold.
