Pretty darn good!
The size is adequate for our split king bed. That lies flat and doesn’t slip around, but we were having a problem of it sliding “up”…. Towards the top of the bed. Because of it being Electric, we can’t tuck it in underneath the mattress, so we let the excess hang off the bottom. Every time we snuggle in the kind of bunches up towards the top and we have to keep readjusting the bottom. We came up with a solution: we have some of those (what I call sheet “suspenders”). Each one is about 6 inches long and stretches to about nine or 10 inches long with a clip of each end. You can get them here on Amazon. They are made so that up near the corners of your sheets you clip them up at the angle so that a bunch of tighter the corners. I used it where I took and wrapped one and around the bed frame, and then took the other end and clipped it to the very bottom of the electric blanket (where there are no electrical cords). So far it’s working well! It keeps the blanket down at the foot of the bed down where it’s supposed to be. We do like the controller head. It comes with two of them one for each side, and you can raise or lower the temperature from 1 to 10, as well as the duration of time that the heat is on, up to 12 hours before it shuts itself off automatically. This way you can set it for level 5 for 5 hours or whatever combination you like AND your partner on the other side can control their exactly the way they like! Sweet! When you turn it on you press the button add a blue light comes on and shows you the setting. After an adequate number of minutes, it goes off for economics as well as not bothering you while you’re sleeping. You touch the button again and the light comes on so you can verify your settings then it will go off after an interval. The blanketmaterial is soft and light. They heat it generates is great! And it’s very responsive. I do wish that the blanket material were a little thicker, but as it is, it’s very very adequate for the job.

So soft!
This blanket is fairly thin but very soft! The heated wires don't all heat up, the heat is spotty throughout the blanket. Overall it's nice under the blanket and it warms the area, but I don't know why the heat is spotty. It's possible that it's designed like that? Maybe the heated wires take turns heating? I'm not sure. Overall it's very nice and I'm glad to have it, but it would be nice if the whole thing heated up evenly.
