I don't normally give reviews of the products that I buy. However, these headphones have surprised me and to fair I think I have to do it. I want to clarify that I am very annoying when buying something. I read different reviews, I watch a lot of videos on Youtube to compare products and get an idea of how it works and also know the pros and cons. I was looking for a product that wasn't that expensive, but wasn't really cheap either. So at AMAZON's suggestion, I stumbled upon the SENZER SG500. I immediately started researching and followed my pre-purchase protocol. I read the reviews, looked up its features, and apparently the product had everything I was looking for. After careful consideration, I decided to give the SENZER SG500 a try and I must say I have no regrets. After a couple of weeks of wearing the SENZER SG500 every day, here are my comments. I usually teach online so I needed a product that wouldn't kill my ears (Yes, I have big ears) after two or three hours and the ear pads are so well designed you don't even notice them. They're soft and they adapt themselves to the shape of your head, but more importantly, after a couple of hours, your ears thank you for how great they feel. The weight is another thing that surprises me, they are very light and sometimes you forget that you are using them. The cable is very well designed. It has a coating made of some kind of sintetic cloth, which is very difficult to break. Integrated into the cable, we find a small device that allows you to control both the volume and mute the microphone. And this is appreciated by me, because sometimes you just want to mute the microphone without having to do it on the device you are using (my laptop). And speaking of the microphone, it captures the sound with great quality. My students listen to me without problems and I can tell the difference in the new audios and tutorials that I recorded in the last days from the previous ones. I am aware that we are talking about a product that is designed for gaming, but this product can be used in other environments, such as a virtual classroom, video calls, recording, and even listening to music. As for the latter, I think it was what surprised me the most. It has such a clear sound that sometimes you think that the music is coming from outside and not from the SENZER SG500 itself. The basses are incredible and is never distorted. Always loud and clear. And I'm used to listening to music with good quality equipment, because sometimes I work at a local radio station with a friend. Another aspect that I like is that they can be folded and are easy to transport. If I had to describe my overall experience with the SENZER SG500, I have to give them a 5/5. At least in my case and two weeks using the product, it meets all my expectations. If you ask me about something negative and I don't know whether to call it a negative, it has to be that I tried the product on my cell phone and although it is true that they sound quite good, the volume is low compared to when I use them on my laptop. I can attribute it to the fact that the sound output from my cell phone is not of quality or that it does not have the correct power to really exploit the potential of the SENZER SG500. But that's probably my phone. Now if you're going to use them for what they were designed for, you won't regret it.

Despite coming from china, it's better quality than $400 GameStop headphones.

I have purchased over 15 different headphones since getting the Xbox 360 and all xbox consoles since then. All of them were expensive and all were plastic and broke eventually because the plastic couldn't keep up with normal every day gaming wear and tear. THIS HEADSET IS MADE OF METAL SO IT'S A LEAGUE ABOVE THE REST ON AMAZON. The headset has metal arms and the head piece is also metal with very nice cushioning for the ear cups and for the head piece too. IT IS FAR HEAVIER THAN TRADITIONAL AMERICAN PLASTIC GAME STOP HEADSETS. You can tell you have quality when you hold this monster in your hands. I'm no pussy so I'm not complaining about the weight, I'm just trying to give you all the info you need to make a good choice. I've tested this headset on my xbox controllers and my Apple Laptop and even for iPhone video calls and it works AMAZINGLY. No issues whatsoever. AT ALL. The metal construction makes it the king above all my previous headsets. I've spent over $800 at GameStop over the past 15 years on headsets alone and all of them were plastic crap that broke eventually. The plastic isn't suitable for long life. This is made of metal which is one of its greatest selling points. I intentionally spent 3 hours on amazon, Etsy and Walmart looking for metal headsets PRECISELY because I'm SICK AND TIRED OF SPENDING MONEY ON PLASTIC HEADSETS THAT WON'T LAST. I have learned the hard way it's better to buy once and never again. I confidently aspire to be using this headset for the rest of my life and never have to buy another one ever again. I hope to never have to shop for headsets again. I hope this is my final headset purchase. Do yourself a favor dude and buy yourself a metal headset like this or better. Do not purchase anything LESS than this headset like a plastic one. Don't get plastic. Get metal. Ideally aluminum because aluminum is rust proof but I don't care right now. I'm just glad it's metal. Last but not least, my previous 15 headsets didn't hold up because I'm the most heavy duty customer you could use to test headsets. If a headset can survive me, you know you have a quality product, WHY? Because I do construction and landscaping in real life. THAT'S HARD WORK. HELLISH work. I also listen to music while rock climbing which is a heavy duty sport. I also hit the gym with this headset too. I'm NOT gentle. I'm aggressive. Buy once instead of buying every few weeks or months. No. Buy once and never again. I also advise purchasing an adapter cable so you can connect it to your iPhone port for phone calls or USB C adapter for Samsung phones or Laptops. You're all set. Also, the Microphone is much better than GameStop trash headsets. This microphone is so good it reminds me of microphones you'd see on $300 headsets. Very high quality microphone. There's my honest review. I'll be buying one again for. my father as a gift and again for my wife as a gift and for my children too. We all play video games and listen to music. All of us. So I'm sure it's a perfect utilitarian gift that'll be useful to them. A useful gift is the best gift in my opinion. Have a good day people. Adios.

SENZER SG500 casque gaming

J’utilise le SENZER SG500 tous les soirs pour gamer sur PC et PS5, pis honnêtement pour le prix c’est pas mal solide comme casque surround. Le son est clair, on entend bien les pas à gauche/droite dans les shooters, la voix sur Discord reste distincte même quand le jeu brasse pas mal. Les coussins en mousse mémoire sont doux, ça serre pas trop la tête, j’ai déjà fait des sessions de 3–4 heures sans sentir mes oreilles brûler ou écrasées. Le casque est léger et se plie, ça rentre facile dans un sac à dos sans avoir peur de le casser. ​ Le micro antibruit fait une bonne job, mes amis disent qu’ils m’entendent clean, pas de souffle ni de grichage bizarre. J’avais lu des commentaires de gens qui se plaignaient que le micro du SG500 marche pas bien sur Windows 11 ou fait du bruit statique, alors j’ai testé exprès: sur mon setup, en le branchant direct en 3.5mm, aucun bug, le mic a été reconnu tout de suite. D’autres trouvent que le “noise cancelling” du casque est moyen, mais moi je trouve que pour un modèle filaire budget, l’isolation passive des coussins fait déjà une bonne partie de la job si t’es pas dans un environnement trop bruyant. Au niveau technique, c’est un casque filaire 3.5mm, donc pas de Bluetooth ni USB, faut juste le plugger dans la manette ou le PC et ça marche, compatible console, mobile, laptop, pas besoin de logiciel compliqué. La molette de volume sur le câble est pratique, même si elle manque un peu de précision comparé à des modèles plus chers. Le surround est virtuel mais donne vraiment une bonne spatialisation pour repérer d’où viennent les sons en jeu, surtout dans les FPS compétitifs. Les pads sont détachables et remplaçables, ce qui est rare dans cette gamme de prix, pratique si ça use avec le temps ou si tu veux nettoyer. ​Pour les côtés moins nice: le bas est pas ultra puissant, ça tape pas comme un gros casque à 200$, surtout pour la musique ou les explosions très lourdes, mais les médiums et aigus sont propres alors les voix et détails ressortent bien. Le câble pourrait être un peu plus robuste et plus long, et comme c’est seulement 3.5mm, si t’as un téléphone récent sans jack, ça prend un adaptateur. Esthétiquement il est correct, pas flashy RGB, plus simple, ce qui me dérange pas, mais ceux qui veulent un look “pro gamer” full lumière vont trouver ça plate. Pour moi, à ce prix-là, oui ça vaut le prix, surtout si tu cherches un casque léger, confortable et avec bon son surround pour gaming sans te ruiner. J’avais un peu peur après avoir lu des reviews mitigées sur le micro et l’isolation, mais ma propre unité se comporte super bien jusqu’à maintenant. Si tu veux quelque chose de filaire simple, plug-and-play, pour jouer plusieurs heures sans mal de tête et entendre clairement tes teammates, le SENZER SG500 fait la job plus que correct pour le budget

Actually Excellent for the Price!

So I have Corsair Virtuoso headsets which are rated highly on all website for being one of the best wireless headsets. I broke mine so I needed a headset until my warranty replacement arrived. I also needed a back up if I forgot to charge them. So a friend had a giveaway on IG for a SENZER SH500 and I won! So I got them super fast as per Amazon usual. The box is small and was thinking it would not be up to snuff. I WAS WRONG!!!! I opened them up and the looked like my shooting headset which are Walker’Razor Slim! So they look great and since they look like my real gun shooting headsets. I put them on and they are comfy and not tight like most headsets since they are adjustable. The mic is nice and long. So it actually can be adjusted to meet needs regarding distance to your mouth. In a nutshell, the SG500s are comfy! So they pass the looks and comfort. The sound was surprisingly good! I play COD and am a monster in the game. I can hear footsteps, ambient noise and the clarity is pretty good. Now the Corsair Virtuosos sound better but hey are also 6X more expensive coming in between $150 and $200 depending if you get them on sale. The sound is neutral unlike Logitech G935 which I also owned (I have owned all the top gaming headsets) which have too much bass or the Steelseries Arctis 7 which are neutral but have a higher pitched sound. These are spot on for the price. Music and movies also great but an an App with EQ settings would have been clutch but these are plug and play amd sound good what they are. So they are good. Not as good as the Corsairs which have an app and EQ control but the price difference is huge. The mic is also pretty good and moat people say it sounds better than tthe Corsair Virtuoso. I say this because I ised to get complaints re my moc sounding small but I do net any mic complains with the SG500. Huge win for this relatively inexpensive headset. The cable is long as that is the drawback. These are wored and my Virtuoso is wireless. However I don’t need to charge these. Overall, I like this headset and I like them so much my replacement Corsair Virtuosos are still in the box a month later…Yes, the SENZER I SG500. are so good my pricier headset is still in a box unopened. Speaks volumes. Only drawback is there is no app and that it is corded. However SG500 perform so well I kinda wished I never spent so much on a headset. These are way cheaper and at $24 how can you go wrong!?!? I highly suggest getting these as a primary headset and definitely as a back! Based on how they sound and perform they are a better value than some of the more expensive brands and worth the savings!
