Excellent; needs another edition!
Absolutely wonderful!! The instructions are easy to follow and the materials are great. Pros: - Super cute! - Easy to make; just cutting and sewing. The book tells you how to do the stitches needed for the projects, and if you're anything like me you'll get the hang of it quickly. - Clear instructions; even when I was a bit delirious from the heat I was able to sew a little piece of toast properly. - Gives you something fun to do when you're bored. - Quality materials; no cheapness here. Issues: - I wish there were more sheets of several colours of felt; trying to make a green apple proved not possible because of just how much felt is needed for other projects. - I think there should be an extra sheet of eyes and cheek blushes; with how many extras I made of some items there just wasn't enough cute lil blushes to go around! - The needles need to be significantly sharper. Even my sharp needles had a little bit of trouble going through the felt occasionally, and when that happened I knew that the needles that were given to me in this package wouldn't have a chance of piercing the felt. If you buy this, I recommend that you have your own needles handy. - There should be reminders on pages with patterns that need to be flipped to flip them. I've, more than once, accidentally traced a pattern twice the same way that needed to be flipped, because I was just so focused and eager to sew. Not a huge issue, but it'd be very helpful. Aside from all that, if I were able to say anything to Klutz, it'd be "make another edition of this!" I absolutely love making tiny little foods and the instructions in this were so clear, and I also love their method of making the patterns as a cardboard piece instead of just paper like I've seen many other patterns. It ensures that the patterns last and I'm sure that even after I create everything in this kit I'll still be making more little foods using these patterns (I'm even planning to buy more felt specifically to make more!). I did buy this for myself, so I'm not entirely sure how a child would fare with this, but I'd probably recommend them to be at least eight years old or so, and to definitely have some supervision. All in all a worthwhile purchase. Absolutely adorable and gives me something to do when I'm really bored. Extremely eager to see a new edition of tiny food come out from this company! I'd buy it in a heartbeat. (maybe with a cute little hamburger and fries or a sandwich?)

Great bonding craft
I got this for my 9 yo daughter for her birthday. I promised I would teach her to sew and she loves stuffiest and little fruit with faces so it was a win, win, win. This is a great kit! The instructions are clear English and tell the proper names for things. It tells you what project to start with for a basis if you're a first time seamstress. It's felt material, real metal needles but they are larger. So easier to learn the process and know what a real needle feels like but not safe enough to leave a beginner/ smaller (5-6yo?)children with alone. They came out super cute. It suggests different stitches for the sprinkles but we used pen for our details. They're about the size of my palm (although I have small hands). It came with a good amount of felt my only real concern or negative is that it's recommended you cut the floss into 14" sections for your sewing... I don't really think it's enough unless you want to keep tying it off throughout your stitch. I guess that could be a personal preference thing, π€·ββοΈ ? Either way it was hands down her most exciting present and I got her the baby alive doll, that poops, that she had begged for...

Cuteness!
Absolutely fun! This is great for beginners, with step by step instruction. Toddlers love recieving the little made gifts from their parent. The kit has all its contents in the box and serves well for the number of projects you do. The box itself is sleek, but also provides for easy storage of the unused contents as you go along. Although for some, the projects may feel a little time consuming. If ur looking to learn a new skill or to just try your hand at making little things for any reason, then this product is for you!

Amazing quality (and quality time)
I got this for my nieceβs 5th birthday and she LOVES creating things by sewing. Her mom sews, so it makes her feel like sheβs doing what she sees her mom do. The directions are clear to follow. My 7 year old nephew wanted to create a doughnut after seeing her enjoying the kit, too! I think it would be a very fun set for kids to do as a little hobby, to create food for their make-believe kitchen, or to do as an art/craft in home-school.
