Not perfect, but awesome for two years - good buy
Pros: Cleans well Simple to clean/replace parts Good for single floor homes Cons: Loud/bumps into walls App not fantastic but servicable No grid cleaning Floor needs to be clear (no items laying around) After nearly two years my device finally stopped working. I absolutely loved this machine and was devastated when it stopped working. I used this machine daily, often twice a day, for nearly two years. In that time, I used my standup vacuum maybe a handful of times for big messes that need to be cleaned up immediately. Other than that, I used the robot vacuum. I lived in single story 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with a mix of carpet/tile while the vacuum was in use. Mostly live alone with one cat. I learned quickly that prior to having this robot vacuum, I was not cleaning my floor often enough. Every single time I would run the Shark it would pick up huge clumps of cat hair, dirt, and debris. I often received compliments on how clean my place was. For the first year or so, I had the Shark set to start cleaning while I was at work. After it got stuck a few times and ran out of battery I decided to just run it manually. Manual use is super simple - literally just press the button on the device and it takes off. It would run for about two hours or so and return to the charging base. It is not methodical in the way it cleans - it just bounces from wall to wall like that old screensaver (it’s kind of addictive to watch) - but it does the job. You do need to make sure to pick up any big things on the floor before you run it. It will get caught in curtains, shoe strings, phone charging cables, dirty clothes, etc. and it’s kind of loud. Definitely not anywhere near a standup vacuum, but it does make a whirring noise and bumps a little too loudly against the walls. Living in an apartment, I didn’t run it at night because the thumps might’ve bothered my downstairs neighbors. I didn’t like to have it running while I had company over or when I was trying to nap, but other than that it was fine. Cleaning (the vacuum) is self explanatory I think, comparable to other robot vacuums from what I can tell. I needed to open it up and clean the brush maybe quarterly if necessary. The brushes start to bend after getting used, but I just switched which side they were on to get them to bend the other way - not an issue at all. I actually replaced the brushes and filter only once after about a year. I accidentally threw away the filter and didn’t even realize it was gone for months, the vacuum still worked great. This was easily the cleaning device I used the most and I will be prioritizing getting a replacement asap.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best Cleaning Sidekick Ever!
The Shark AV753 ION Robot Vacuum is a game-changer in the battle against dust bunnies, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. Here’s why it’s now my new best friend (no, seriously, we hang out while it works): Why It’s AMAZING: ✔ Set It and Forget It – You basically hit “start,” walk away, and the robot does all the work. It's like having a cleaning assistant that doesn’t ask for a raise. ✔ Suction Power Like a Pro – This little guy has some serious suction! It picks up crumbs, pet hair (if you have dogs like me, you know the struggle), and debris like it’s training for a marathon. ✔ Smart Navigation – The AV753 is like the GPS of vacuums. It maps out your space and gets into places you didn’t even know needed cleaning. Watch it dodge furniture like a pro—no more getting stuck under the couch! ✔ Quiet Operation – It’s quiet enough to be an undercover cleaning agent. You won’t even know it’s working—until you see all the dirt it’s sucked up. ✔ Self-Charging – When it’s done vacuuming, it heads back to its dock to charge itself. It’s like having a robot that knows when to take a break (I could learn a thing or two). ✔ Pet Friendly – It actually gets the pet hair. Enough said. Why It’s Also HILARIOUS: You’ll probably find yourself talking to it. It’s like a little vacuum buddy that you never knew you needed. You’ll feel oddly proud when it finishes its work. You didn’t do anything, but you’re like, "Look at this little champ!" In summary, the Shark AV753 ION Robot Vacuum is my new favorite household employee. It works hard, is low maintenance, and doesn’t mind cleaning up after me (or my dog’s fur explosion). If you want a smarter, quieter, and more efficient cleaning experience, this is your robot. Get one, and prepare for your floors to never be the same again!

Wow!
I have a cat with a LOT of very fine, long hair. Just about every day, I run a robot vacuum. I had been using an iRobot (purchased in 2019). Everytime (and I mean EVERYtime) I ran it, it got stuck. It would wedge itself under the bed frame, end tables, easy chairs, the sofa, etc. The iRobot also had an impossible time on carpeting that had any pile to it at all. Another issue is that the battery does not last long enough to thoroughly clean the house. Every morning, I would have to get out the hand held portable vacuum to suck up all the hair devils that formed under my kitchen counter chairs during the night-hair which should have been vacuumed up by the iRobot the day before. Then I ordered a Shark. What a difference! The Shark rarely, if ever, gets itself stuck. It is able to vacuum my bedroom rug, which does have a little bit of a pile to it. (The iRobot was unable to vacuum it.) The Shark runs and runs and runs, thus thoroughly cleaning the floors. No more hair devils to vacuum up every morning! I also have made note of the fact that the Shark is designed to not get hair entangled in its beater brush, spinner brush, and wheels. I can not say the same for the iRobot, which needed a thorough cleaning at least twice a month. If the Shark lasts as long as the iRobot (which is still functional), I will be a very happy consumer. To say I prefer the Shark is a true understatement. There is almost no comparison between the two. The Shark is just that much better.

Cute Vacuum for Newbies.
I am a big fan of this vacuum as my first purchase. First thing right out the box, minor scratches but overall clean and lovely. Set up was easy, router stuff from the app was a little annoying at first. I was very afraid because others mentioned it was not good but after naming the vacuum Robo and letting him fully charge out the box, he was running off and scooping up everything. You will definitely have to mop and sweep tight corners but as daily maintenance, it helps so much when it’s the house’s least favorite chore. Works especially good on tile. It also does not feel cheap, and yes it bumps into everything and makes a lot of noise, but you eventually grow fond of it. After about two weeks of cleaning I had two bins full of dust, pet hair, dirt, and hair. It’s a house of three ladies, and one little feline lady. The man treks through the house with his shoes on (ugh.) The charging isn’t bad, Robo throws a little fit when he’s around 30% to go back to his dock. This was my biggest fear, but the charging is straightforward. Mine has not been able to be very consistent with finding his dock, but that’s totally ok. I just pick him up and let him rest and then bother him later. As for value of money, I had a huge credit from Amazon so I got him for 32 bucks. That is a crazy steal, and honestly, I would probably pay 79 bucks for this little guy again. Fabulous little starter, but if you’re already spoilt by bigger brands, go for the bigger brands haha.
