Full back massage chair with shiatsu rollers great for tall people!

This Snailax shiatsu back massager has a very long track. It comes folded into thirds, with two parts to the back and a seat. This makes the back very tall, covering from the neck to lumbar area. You can run one or both sections and the separate shiatsu rollers run smoothly from up to down. I am just over 6 feet tall and the upper rollers go up to my neck. The other massagers I have run only to the shoulder blades, so I really like the length. The deep kneading is smooth, but the rollers are pretty hard and there is no additional cover. I am either getting a deep massage or using a thin blanket for a softer feel. The deep tissue massage relaxes muscle and relieves tightness to help with overall relaxation when needed. There are options on the controller to select upper and/or lower sections, or adjust spot coverage, keeping the rollers in one place. There are 3 adjustable height settings H1 (height 5’1”) to 5’5”; H2 (5’5”-5’11”) and H3 (5’11” and up.) Since I am tall I use H3. The shiatsu massage area is customized to massage Upper Back, Lower Back or Full Back with Light, Medium, and Hard intensities. There are 3 vibration modes to relieve muscle tension. Although vibration is not my favorite mode, some people might enjoy it. I like the heating mode, which also has multiple settings. The heating function provides gentle warmth to further relax. The time is adjustable between 15, 20 or 30 minutes. I usually use it for 20 minutes. I can definitely recommend this – especially to taller people.

Works well when lying in bed

tl;dr - good choice for my unique use case I'm 5'6' and have had scoliosis since I was a child and it occasionally flares up. It's been especially bad since I had major surgery a week ago as I've had to recuperate in bed more than usual. I've been on the looking for a back massager to help and I saw this When I opened the box, I was a bit concerned that it was a bit too thick to lay on when on a bed but it just took a bit to feel comfortable. It worked very well for my lower back discomfort though I would have like a bit more heat. Otherwise, the back massager has plenty of settings including location, speed, vibration, and a timer I like its versatility as it works well in a chair, able to work my sore neck and shoulder muscles. So, will use it as a seat cushion during the day and massage therapy before I go to sleep I highly recommend this item if you have a similar need case

Snailax has really nailed it with the “Snailax Back Massager for Full Back Pain Relief Deep Tissue, Long Track Dual 3D Shiatsu Rollers 3 Height Settings Foldable Massage Chair “ I’m a long time user of their Shiatzu massage chairs and have tried other brand chairs that friends use. This unit is better by far, than any I have used in a number of ways. Here are some: It’s a taller chair with independent rollers top and bottom. It gives the best message I’ve gotten from a chair. It’s a very well made, sturdy unit with an excellent remote. It’s very convenient that the unit folds for storage. Just note that it need to be used with a chair that allows you to fasten the velcro strap around the back. This chair is my new “go to”. It is more expensive than my other chair but very much worth it in the in the function and the build.

Great therapy aid!

This back massager has strong, even and constant back pressure. Been using it several times a week for a month. Especially helpful therapeutically for the lower back and middle back. The heat is very soothing. An improvement would be to add some neck therapy if possible.
