A fantastic starter kit with a wide variety of mediums
I picked up this art set as a rainy day activity kit for my household. I wanted a comprehensive collection that included multiple types of art supplies in one package so we did not have to buy everything separately. I have been using this set with my family for about two weeks. We have used it for coloring sessions and some basic sketching on the weekends. Performance and Experience The wooden case is the standout feature here. It looks professional and helps keep the supplies organized when not in use. The drawers and latches function well enough to keep everything secure during transport. The set includes a huge range of items. We spent several afternoons testing the oil pastels and the colored pencils. The pastels are surprisingly smooth and vibrant on paper. The colored pencils are hard enough to sharpen without breaking but soft enough to blend reasonably well. The watercolor cakes are a bit pale and require a lot of water to get good color payoff. The included coloring book and sketch pad are small but very convenient for getting started immediately. Pros • Organization: The wooden box latches securely and has a handle for easy carrying. • Variety: It covers almost every medium a beginner would want to try. • Completeness: Including the paper pads means you do not need to buy any extra accessories to start creating. Cons • Tray Quality: The plastic insert holding the supplies is quite thin and feels a bit cheap compared to the wooden exterior. • Watercolors: The paint cakes are not very pigmented and can look a bit washed out compared to the pastels. This product was 100% worth the mony I gave it to my 15 yr old cousin and he is obsessed with art and he loved it he opened it up and gave me and my mum a hug because he loved it that much (he never gives us hugs about Christmas presents☺️) if you are buying this I total recommend 🎨
