The size 5 is just like an official regulation size 5 soccer ball. They can kick this as hard as they want against the living room wall, and it makes absolutely no noise—not even a thump. Most importantly, it doesn’t dent the walls, leave scuff marks, or break anything it hits (like windows for example, it will however, knock over a glass cup and break it if you allow your kiddos to kick it in your kitchen, ooops!). Perfect indoor option
This ball was ordered for my nephew to practice indoors this past weekend. He is on a youth soccer team and loves practicing any chance he gets. This past weekend was freezing temps in Louisiana so we stayed indoors and this ball was a great past time. While it does have way more bounce than a traditional soccer ball it still allowed for him to work on his footwork and control. It took a bit of getting used to especially when it rebounded but it was still fun and challenging for all of us. This foam ball is lightweight and made of durable foam and the best part is it is SAFE! Rest assured your house wont be destroyed during play. This ball wont scuff up furniture or break valuables. It hit a floor lamp during play and bounced right off. It is safe for little ones too! My niece is three and she got hit a few times with the ball and just laughed. This soft ball is fun for all and a great way to practice or fine tune skills all while indoors! Worth the money for sure.

The foam appears to be resilient; it is dense enough for rugged play yet spongy/soft enough for small hands to pick up and carry, which also allows decent grip factor. They haven’t shown any temptation to pick at the foam yet, which speaks for its quality. The softness also protects our furniture and hardwood floors, as well as the kids when they are unexpectedly contacted by the ball. The contrast of the bright yellow field and the royal blue ball markings make it stand out so they (and I) can find it easily. This ball is sure to provide countless hours of fun and I am glad we happened upon it!
