Warm coffee, even hours later
I rarely write product reviews but felt compelled to do so after taking the final sip of my coffee at 1:15pm and finding it still pleasantly warm. The coffee was poured around 9am. While sitting at my desk, I often find myself reaching for my coffee cup only to realize that it has been hours since it was poured and I am only taking my second or third sip. I honestly bought this mug for aesthetic purposes and because I have been a huge Simple Modern fan for years and love adding to my collection of Almond-colored cups/mugs/water bottles. I bought it on sale but would gladly pay full price. It is worth the money for warm coffee. This is my second ceramic coffee tumbler from Simple Modern and I find they deliver the best tasting coffee, much better than stainless steel. I love the silicone bottom that doesn't bang around on my counters and esk and I also really like the 360 lid - it makes me feel like I don't have to worry about spills, but is easy to grab and sip from like a regular mug.

If you like a hot drink, hot. This cups for you!
I have a problem swallowing and have to slow down my drinking, so this cup has a twofold benefit. One it keeps my tea hot while making me slow down as I drink. I’ve heard that people say that they have trouble closing it to right place, if you’re right handed, place handle to right set top to where it is ready to screw on make sure you’re at top left corner and once it’s tight it’ll be at front right where you want it to be. Hope that helps. Only problem I have is that I drink hot tea which stains and have a lot of trouble getting lid clean. But cup is well worth the money I paid, well made and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a drink to stay hot from start to finish..

The design and colour are super great !The lid will tighten either left or right in the perfect place! Line up the opening near the handle for a left handed cup - or away from the handle for a right handed cup! Brilliant ! The finish is matt and dishwasher safe! The closure snaps tight and spill proof. I purchased them so to keep bugs out when on the patio and to keep drinks cold (or hot) - throughout the night. I filled mine at 9:00pm and still had ice at 5:00 am. Slim and light weight! Price was very reasonable too. Perfect for a nice morning hot coffee - everyday.

Works brilliantly
This does exactly what is advertised, the insulation keeps the cup of tea hot for a long time, it doesn't spill even when turned upside down and the lid can be screwed on to suit left or right handed people. The only downside to it is the capacity, my husband is using this mug and he is used to around 1.5 x the amount this holds for a cuppa.
