One of the most successful gifts I have ever given!

Following a visit to some high-tech, luxury design store with his parents this past Christmas season, my 6-year-old nephew started obliviously greeting everyone he encountered with "Guess what I want? A $6,000.00 massage chair!" While everyone's initial response was to howl with laughter at the sheer ridiculousness of the request, it became clear that he was genuinely serious when it started appearing in the crayon artwork he would bring home from school and the Lego configurations strewn across his bedroom floor. Despite the unfortunate reality that the one he had his heart set on was never going to be an option, his letter to the North Pole did me in as it was prominently displayed at the top of his list alongside a detailed drawing of himself sitting in the chair. At this point, I was determined to find a suitable alternative but by the time I discovered this, it was too late for it to be received in time for Christmas. After accepting that his dream was not to be, he slowly moved on and stopped talking about it. With the arrival of his Birthday a full month later, I seized the opportunity to truly surprise him following all those weeks of giddy anticipation that ended in such a letdown. I was a little worried that he would be disappointed since it wasn't the coveted designer chair, however, once I explained that he could use it in different places like his bed, the couch in the living room, or the recliner in the TV room he was completely sold. We initially set it up on a bed and he climbed in waiting to see how it worked. The attached remote control has numerous settings and allows for a wide variety of targeted options to satisfy individual preferences - he had this mastered in seconds. The look on his face once it was switched on was priceless - it was absolute euphoria. His eyes actually rolled back as he let out a deep sigh and said: "oh, yeah… this really helps me unwind". I actually had to turn away to conceal my laughter as I watched this little boy morph into an old man! Soon, a line started forming as everyone took a turn with all the adults unanimously agreeing that they were wrong in their earlier mockery of his obsession with the massage chair. Three of those present have gone on to purchase a Snailax massage mat of their own; two of them struggle with pain management issues resulting from both an auto accident and a sports injury. They both strongly agreed that it did provide them with some relief from stiffness and difficulty getting comfortable in bed when trying to fall asleep. Works Well, Looks Well Made

I bought this mat for my autistic son who often likes to touch something vibrating as part of his "sensory diet". This works very well for that and he seems to like it a lot. Better than a percussive massager which he tends to drop or put on bony parts of his body. I tried it on my recliner and it feels very good, even though I'm not sore right now. There are 5 automatic modes, but I like setting the specific regions manually, in particular back and lumbar. It is quite soothing. The wired controller is easy to use. The heat is not very hot, and it wouldn't substitute for a heating pad. The mat folds up easily with the controller stored in an attached pocket. It fits easily under a bed.

Amazing Product

This is a wonderful product. I’ve bought other massages and heating pads in past but this one tops them all. The fact that it’s a mat makes is so easy to use and take with you anywhere. With other products I’ve struggled to get the massage nodes to hit the right spot but not here. The multiple massage zones and intensity settings work perfectly for me. I’m able to get relief with ease and just the right amount of heat to sooth the muscles in my back. I also love the fact that it's not heavy, has a holder for the remote and and a long enough cord to reach any outlet. This is a product worth buying, you won't be disappointed.

This product is very well made.

Wow this mat does exactly with it is suppose to do. That is a nice change to find. I am a senior with arthritis in my shoulder, knee , ankle and hand and I am always cold even in the summer. Sitting on the chair in my recliner I can feel the heat and massage going through my body and find it very warm and comforting. Seven out of the 10 times of use, I fall into a little sleep. This is a product that I will use every day not will not be going out looking for the heated massage chair now. No need to do that I have a portable massage that can follow me anywhere.
