Great Find
I’ve used the mat in a recliner, an office chair, and on a bed, and I’ve used the headrest in all three ways that are shown in the manual, and I like all the options for different things. When I really want to feel the heat and massage to the greatest degree, the bed is the best. Also, when laying flat, you can position to get the rollers to hit wherever you need. Based on the pictures, I expected the rollers to go below the lower back, and high enough to hit the shoulders. Since the rollers don’t go that far, I can adjust my position to achieve the desired massage. The cover is attached with velcro, and easy to remove in order to feel the heat and rollers better. It takes a bit of time to feel the heat, but it’s a nice temperature. The remote is easy and intuitive, and the spot feature works great. It’s also nice to be able to adjust the speed. For me, the vibration feature was loud and didn’t add to the experience, regardless of the setting, but the massage is strong (especially when laying down), the heat is a great temperature, the spot feature works well, and the adjustable headrest and portability of the mat make it a great find.

This massage mat is compact and easy to use with a few setup options. The living room sofa is now a massager, especially if I want to relax after coming home from work before starting dinner. Placing the mat on the bed allows me to wind down after a shower before sleeping. If you wish to feel the massaging roller a lot more, simply remove the one-piece cover that's velcroed to the main mat. Your body weight also heightens the intensity of the massage if you lay down on the mat, placed on a hard floor instead of on a bed. I loved that I can also adjust the position of the massaging rollers and my body position when laying down, depending on where I want the most attention. The vibration took me a little to get use to but it turns out to be rather soothing. The heat takes a longer time to be felt but after a 15 mins session, the warmth will tempt you to continue. Forget the chair massager, just buy this!
I was surprised at how much I liked this. I have a chair massager, but it can't quite get the right spot for my lower back. So, I thought I would try the mat. Love it! I was amazed at how comfortable it was. I put it on the floor and laid down. We have tile floors, and the cushion was perfect. The massage hit all the right spots. Because I was not constrained by a chair, I could adjust how I was laying on the mat to ensure the massager hit the right spot. The heat takes awhile to feel, but once it warms up, it is nice and toasty. The vibrations is not a big deal for me, but it is nice to be able to adjust them. The other big winner is the timer. You have choices of 15, 20, and 30 minutes. I like that I can do 30 minutes at once. I found this to be very relaxing after a stressful day.
