All Star Whodunit is a great, funny film
My wife introduced me to Sneakers, a film she knew from before we got together, and in the time since we have watched it time and again - it’s a great, funny, all star whodunit with some great twists and turns. Helmed by Robert Redford’s classic style, his fellow culprits include Sidney Poitier, River Phoenix, Mary McDonnell, David Strathairn and Dan Aykryd (among others), a band of former folks outside the law, with Poitier’s law man, and Redford’s world-changer - they are still trying to change the world for the better, but not making a killing at it. When two mysterious men from the government show up - knowing their backgrounds - it’s a chance to clear their names and move forward into bigger and better... but nothing is ever as it seems. The twists and turns are at once funny and well placed, surprising and revealing of who they each are. It’s a stellar cast with outstanding writing and a story worthy the journey. In the end it’s a fun ride and one we take again and again. We love this film and spending time with this merry band....

Great movie with an amazing acting list and a solid plot!
Holy smokes, I was excited about seeing this movie as soon as I saw it pop up on a streaming service but then realized how inexpensive it was on Amazon to just buy it! I'm so glad I did! I was almost entirely going to get this just for Robert Redford but then remembered how many CRAZY all star actors are in this movie! Shoot, even Werner was a big actor in Groundhog Day! I had totally forgot that Sidney Potier (To Sir, With Love) was in this, let alone Dan Akroyd (Ghostbusters) and River Pheonix (young Indiana Jones). The main bad guy is also in Schindler's List, I believe! This movie has a great plot and rivals some great "who's smarter than who" plot movies! I highly recommend this movie!

One of my all-time favorites!
I first saw this movie in the 90's when it came out on VHS at the movie rental place and I became a life-long fan. Great storyline, great actors, humor, suspense, and loosely based on some real people and real events.

Classic adventure
Highly recommend this movie and some of the themes are ahead of its time. It’s fun with a great cast and actually still holds up.
