Works perfectly - completely squirrel proof
I bought this as a gift for my parents. They just graduated from feeding only hummingbirds, but squirrels have been absolutely raiding their new bird feeder. They got an absolute kick out of watching the squirrels try to find a way into this thing. Not only can it not support their weight, but there's also not really anywhere for them to land once they jump onto it anyway. They tried for days before they gave up and just accepted the fact that all they are going to get now is what the birds drop. My dad felt so bad for them, he has started leaving them peanuts. If you have squirrels stealing all your bird seed, grab one of these. It totally works.

Great bird feeder so far! It's built really well. The first night I set it out we had a thunderstorm roll through. Checked it in the morning to find it held up really good and none of the bird seed was wet. It does hold a fair amount of seed. Easy to fill. It does have a smaller feeding area so it will work best for the smaller song birds. So far the little sparrows love it! I even had a nuthatch stop by a few times. I hope it will attract some finches or even some wrens. I don't have an opinion yet on how squirrel proof it is as it's in a spot where they really can't reach it. All in all I am happy with the purchase.
