I felt compelled to write a review. I can't believe I got 16 gorgeous Champagne flutes for the price I paid. My husband and I are hosting a Sunday brunch for all of the members of a class we've been taking for years and I was planning to do a little mimosa bar. I'm using plastic plates and cutlery, but I couldn't bring myself to serve bubbly in plastic. These actual real glasses aren't a whole lot more expensive than buying a big package of plastic flutes. I can't believe how nice they are for the price. They're heavy at the bottom and very sturdy. My husband dropped one on the quartz countertop as he was taking it out of the box and it didn't even break. The box: this set comes in the nicest, heaviest box you will ever get from something you buy on Amazon. The box has a lift-off top - not something that disassembles itself the first time you open it. You can store the flutes in the box. You can gift the flutes in a box like this. Inside the box is a specially designed foam insert that keeps the glasses snug, separated, and safe. There's another foam cover to protect the lips of all the glasses. I honestly don't know how they are making money on these things. I might actually have to buy another box as it looks like we have more RSVPs than I planned for.

Definitely durable!!
These are very durable glasses...perfect for a party and washed beautifully in the dishwasher. My previous champagne glasses my have been more elequant but they broke too easily. The could also me used as small vases and make an interesting centerpiece. The packaging was excellent and will be the perfect storage box. I am a party person...these will get a LOT of use!!
