Love, love, love this kitchen!
Happy Grandma here! I almost didn’t buy this because of all of the negative reviews. However, out of all the play kitchen options, it had all of the features I was looking for, and I am so glad I chose to give it a chance! My granddaughter and I absolutely love this little kitchen! I will admit that when I opened the box and saw there were 39 steps to build it, I was a bit overwhelmed, however, I confirmed all the parts were there and laid everything out and it went together easily. You only need a Phillips-head screwdriver to assemble the entire thing. It says right at the very top of the instruction booklet that there are no pre-drilled holes. You simply put the appropriate screw in the premade divot, and with a few turns of the screwdriver it goes right through. The little black plastic screws were the most difficult part of the assembly for me, but with a little effort, they fit. The only issue we had was a broken Dutch oven pot. I called the customer service number in the instruction manual and they sent a new one right away. It’s a sturdy set with everything you need to get started “cooking” in the kitchen. My granddaughter has a blast playing with this. She loves the Keurig machine best. She’s constantly offering us cups of coffee or tea. The sizzling of the frying pan and bubbling pot noises on the burner are so much fun! We absolutely love this little kitchen! Sorry to all the people that had issues with it, but I highly recommend!

Hands hurt but kiddo is super happy
As you can see from my photo, a few things aren't finished. The black push in "tack" things hat hold the clock hands and chalkboard are hard to push in, even with widening the holes a little. Not one single screw hole is predrilled so you have to do it all by hand. The black plastic that makes up the countertops is pretty thick. THAT SAID - my kid was so excited to see it once she realized what it was, and had a full blown dinner party going while I was still putting it together. She is currently making tomato soup with some play food and the little soup pot. So my hands are killing me but the kid is super happy and that's the whole point, right? 15/10 would buy again. Great price, lots of features, comes with little storage bins, super interactive and engaging for the kid. Double ovens! A win.

Super cute and my baby loves it. It is a nice size. Not super small like a lot of play kitchens so my son can use it for a long time. I love the extra features like the noise when you twist the salt and pepper grinders and the stove nobs. I love that the stove top makes different sounds depending on the pot you set on it. Mine was missing the kid stickers but I am sure they will mail them when I contact customer service. If not, I will just recycle the tops off of my kpods and glue them on.

This Step 2 Great Gourmet Pay Kitchen is a hit with our grandchildren! The color is neutral for both the boys and the girls! The size is awesome allows 2+ to play! It comes with a lot of utensils, pans, and dishes. It is extremely sturdy and was easy to put together. This is not our first kitchen set but is by far the nicest! The kids enjoyed making coffee like grandpa!! Step 2 has always been a company that you could depend on producing child friendly products!!!
