What separates this alarm clock device from the pack is several things. I’m going to start with the windmill blades. The blades attach to the body of the clock with magnets. They are easily detached and reattached (think children), so that is a consideration. Once attached, there is a button to start the rotation. The spin is slow and gentle. I actually enjoy watching it spin, which helps calm the mind. The windmill blades are optional and the clock can operate with or without the blades attached. The sound generator creates several natural styled sounds and white noises. The white noises I didn’t really like, but the natural sounds were some of the best sounds from a generator that I’ve seen. The speaker and how it is mounted produces high fidelity reproductions – the birds sound real, the ocean and crackling fire sound real – it’s just good. Usually devices like these have a super cheap crap speaker that only produces high frequencies. This speaker surprisingly has some depth and deeper mid tones. The night light is adjustable from very soft to soft. It is just bright enough to see the nightstand and pathway adjacent, especially after my eyes have adjusted to darkness, without being harsh and interrupting sleep. The overall build is plasticky but the construction is solid and precise. The buttons have a decent tactile click when depressed. Setting the clock is standard fare and straightforward. Very easy to use. Overall, I think this is a great buy and represents a nice clock and sleep aid device, if the design is suitable. I didn’t find anything that I thought was a red/yellow flag - so this earns a 5star rating from me. If over long term use, my feelings change about this product, I will update this review. Beautiful, multi-function, lovely, sunrise alarm clock

The Epochleno Sunrise Alarm Clock with Rotating Windmill, Easy Snooze Wake-Up Light is a multi-function “sunrise” alarm clock. The clock itself is approximately 4” across without the windmill and about 7 and ½ inches high. This clock has 10 sounds related to nature to help you relax. These include the sound of the ocean and campfire. In addition to the nature sounds, the clock has 10 “white noise” choices. These include sounds like “fan” You can control the volume for all twenty of the sound choices. There are 12 volume levels to choose from. The windmill blades turn at a nice, slow pace. They can also be removed if you like. On the back of the clock, there is a windowpane that glows when the clock is lit up. This is a lovely touch to the design. The other good design choice for the clock is that it comes in a beautiful tan that will compliment just about any decor in your bedroom. The tan color is the perfect choice when the clock is lit up and glowing, independent of the sound options. Regarding the alarm, since this is a sunrise clock. You can use the “light only function” to wake up without any sound at all. This provides a much gentler way to awaken in the morning, especially if you are prone to high stress levels. I found this clock to be very customizable and easy to use despite its many options. The windmill feature is adorable. This clock is also compact enough to sit nicely on my small bedside table. The fact that the control buttons are on the bottom front makes this extremely easy not only to set, but to hit the snooze in an instant. I don’t want to forget to mention that, additionally, one of the best features of this clock is the USB port on the back. That is just a bonus. I could really go on and on. This is a great item well worth the asking price.

Awesome!

I got this for my 8 year old who absolutely loves setting up gadgets and little tech items like this, and it has been a huge hit in his room. He was so excited to set it up himself and had no trouble at all. The instructions were easy to follow, and he figured everything out independently without needing help from me. The rotating windmill and soft lighting create such a calming atmosphere at bedtime. He especially loves the soothing sounds and changing light brightness options. It’s become part of his nighttime routine, and honestly the biggest surprise is that since setting it up, he’s been getting up on time every morning without complaining. That alone makes this worth it for me. The sound options are nice and relaxing, the brightness levels are adjustable enough that it works well as a night light, and the overall design is really cute and calming without being overly childish. I also like that the windmill automatically shuts off after a few hours so it’s not running all night unnecessarily. Overall this has been a really fun and functional addition to his room. It works exactly as described, looks great on a bedside table, and was easy enough for a child to operate independently.
