Great travel bag! Great EDC bag!
I Bought this backpack for my husband. He needed a quality backpack for business travel. He had previously been using his Mountain Hardwear Camp4 28 as his EDC but recently took a remote position that requires occasional airline travel. While the MH bag is a good bag for an EDC, it isn't designed for business travel. He researches EVERYTHING... ad nauseam. He chose this backpack based upon features, appearance, brand AND the discounted price during Amazon Prime Days. With the intended use as a personal item on US flights, he was able to pack this backpack with his 15.6" laptop, extra 16" monitor, all the cables and power bricks that accompany them, a travel keyboard and mouse, as well as 2 phones, battery bank, notebook and in-flight entertainment including his noise cancelling over the ear headphones, tablet, airfly (Bluetooth gizmo). He was also able to pack a change of clothes in case his carry-on gets gate checked and then lost (it's entirely possible). He loves the small zipper pocket with a hard interior case in which he keeps his eyeglasses (backup to contacts), 2 pair of readers and a microfiber cloth. Yes, this all fit in the backpack which in turn fit under the airline seat. The material is rugged and looks like it will take a beating. The zippers (unknown if YKK) are solid and hefty with the Swiss Gear emblem... they feel like quality zippers. The zippers are also large enough to accept an S-hook to lock the zippers together to help prevent pick pocketing. The trolly sleeve is also better than the average trolly sleeve. It is not the normal thin strap you get on other packs. The backing is contoured and padded for cool comfort if not wearing as a sling. There are 2 padded mesh external pockets that will fit his well used Pogo 32 oz water bottle. My husband is a gear snob and he wants quality in his products. This backpack fits the bill. The Amazon description is pretty accurate, which helped him select this pack. Siskel and Ebert would definitely give this pack 👍👍

High quality with plenty of room laptop and books
Yet to use, but initial inspection shows this backpack to be of very high quality design and material, time will tell, but so far it easily worth the $80 I spent on it. It is a bit on the bigger size, but nothing ridiculous. It is exactly the right size for a student to carry a 16" laptop, a few books/notebooks, misc. items like a mouse and pens and then have room to spare. It also has two very nice external pockets on each side that are large enough for a insulated water bottle. It has a large middle storage area that expands to about 6" deep with enough room for several books and it has 2 zipper pockets and a separator. A nicely paddy laptop and tablet storage area. Plenty of small pockets in the front storage area for lots of little things. A little extra touch is that the handle on top has a metal reinforcing rod in it for extra strength. Not sure if this is good or bad, depends on your needs, but it has an integrated "rigid" glasses case accessible through a front zipper and extends into the middle storage area. Great if you have sunglasses or reading classes, otherwise it is not removable and does take up some space. Could also be used for pens or other small items.

Have your cake and carry it with you too.
This is a great backpack. I was worried at first about the cost versus how much I would use it, but I use this thing all the time. I just recently returned back from a work conference and had this thing packed to the gills with laptop, multiple charges, extra battery pack, shoes, glasses, and enough water bottles to not go thirsty for a week. Compared to some larger backpacks that cost quite a bit more, or even ones that are really cheap but may be also made cheaply, this is a great bang for your buck. The only complaint I have is the connector that clips across the chest to hold the arms together is mounted too high on the straps so if you do not have the backpack sitting super high on your back, the connectors will be touching your neck. Just something to consider. However, I am still happy with the purchase. I may end up just cutting off those connectors as I don't really use them.

Great pack.
Great design and layout. Quality !! The top handle is comfortable and I love the integrated wire. Zippers are great. The glasses compartment is structured so great protection. Straps super comfortable and ergo shape. Weird to leave a 5 star review on a product I didn’t keep (yes, returned) but what I learned was that 31.5 liter capacity was just a little too big for what I needed. It would be great for someone traveling with 1-2 days of clothes or a student carrying more books, but a little too big for my daily office carry. If it was just a little smaller, this would have been perfect. But if your size preference is in that 29-32 liter size range, consider this one - classy, robust, well thought out.
