This is a wonderful pillowcase!! Very soft, feels fantastic to lay my head on! One of my favorite aspects is how nice and cold this pillowcase is... if you're like me and always trying to flip your pillow to get to the "cold spot" you're going to absolutely adore this pillowcase! I also love the built in zipper, which ensures your pillow stays in the case. Truthfully, this is my first time trying a silk pillowcase, but I've previously used satin pillowcases, and I've noticed that it's a common problem for the pillow to slip out of the case when there's no zipper closing. The zipper on this pillowcase is thin and hidden well along the side, so it doesn't get in the way or cause any uncomfortable bumps. The color I ordered is a beautiful soft, light pink color. I've already noticed less breakage in my hair during the couple weeks I've used the pillowcase, and my skin on my face is looking nice. I love the silk for being gentle on hair and aiding in hair health and growth, and also for not creating unnecessary tugging on the skin during sleep, as tugging leads to increased wrinkles in the skin. The ONLY downside I'd make mention of regarding these pillowcases is that due to the manner in which they are packed and folded, the pillowcase will arrive with some wrinkles from the folds. Personally I didn't find this to be a problem, but for anyone who takes issue with this, I'm sure some simple steaming or very cautious ironing (using a buffer material between silk and iron) would easily and quickly solve the problem. The only other way I could imagine this possibly being prevented would be if the company were to somehow ship the products rolled up rather than folded. I'd also like to note, the company who makes these products, Tafts, have been an absolute joy to do business with! They're very helpful, concerned about their customers happiness, attentive, and fast to reply in the email correspondence I had with them. I 100% recommend these pillowcases, and based on this experience, I fully believe any other products by this company would be equally high quality. If you're considering this purchase, you should just go for it! You get enormous value in relation to the price here!

An Amazing Pillowcase!

I’ve been using this pillowcase for the past week, and I love it! I’ve been interested in getting a silk pillowcase for awhile since seeing many influencers talk about silk items, but I hadn’t made the jump. Thanks to TAFTS I was able to try a silk pillowcase! I’m not being paid for this review, but I received a rebate for the cost. Very Cooling Because of the nature of silk, my pillow was kept very cool! I never felt like my body heat was radiating off the pillow like I feel with regular pillowcases. This made sleeping very comfortable because I wasn’t overheating. As a result of the cooling, my face felt less sweaty in the morning. Usually when I wake up, my face feels kinda sweaty, but using this pillowcase my face didn’t feel sweaty at all! It felt nice and dry (the way my face feels after I’ve rinsed with water). I also noticed that my hair got less greasy in between washes. I think this was because my head was less warm so I wasn’t sweaty. Differences I Noticed Along with feeling less sweaty in the morning, the silk pillowcase made my hair less messy when I woke up. This was because there wasn’t any friction between my hair and the pillowcase the way there is with other fabrics. I’ve also enjoyed laying in my bed more. Often I’ll prop up my pillow to sit up in my bed, and I could feel the difference in the fabric through my clothes! It felt really nice to sit against. Since this pillowcase zips closed, my pillow can’t fall out of the pillowcase! It’s really nice not having to adjust my pillows all the time, and my bed remains looking nice and neat. The zipper is really smooth and doesn’t catch! Overall, I would recommend this to anyone! I think the hair and skincare benefits are something I’ll really appreciate now and in the future. They come in so many beautiful colors that will go with anyone’s color scheme. I also love that they’re pretty affordable. I was expecting it to be more expensive than around $20! Love love love!!

Soft and secure pillowcase

This pillow cover is good, and surprisingly comfortable. I’ve never owned or used a silk pillow case so I wasn’t sure what to expect. What I’ve gathered in the 9 days I’ve owned this product is this: Don’t expect to wash this often. It comes ready to go, but silk is a difficult fabric and you don’t throw this into the washer. It’s hand wash only. It’s soft! I expected this to pull and grab on my short man hairs but my hair glides on it pretty easily without much pulling. The zipper is good, and keeps the pillow in. I can’t count how many mornings I’ve needed to repack my pillowcase because the pillow slid out. This case has a zipper and that won’t happen. They also claim you’ll have softer skin and less bed head with this. So far so good, but I can’t really comment on that. Maybe? But I have short hair so no real comment. The case is also cool to the touch but will warm with you. I have a pillow that pulls away heat so the case doesn’t get hot but I don’t foresee that being an issue if your pillow doesn’t have that. All in all I recommend this case. The company seems to care about their customers and provides you good customer service if you have questions or issues. On an unrelated and perhaps odd note, ever since I started using this case I’ve had weird dreams daily which isn’t the norm...but I can’t attribute that to a pillowcase...or can I? No can’t be... EDIT: I’ve had this for awhile now and still really like this pillowcase. I do recommend you wash this after you receive it but DO NOT MACHINE WASH. Tafts has instructions on it and on their website and the best way to wash this is by HAND WASH. I did put it in the machine and it did not ruin it, but there was noticeable discoloration and some of the softness came out.

I love this silk pillowcase! I was happy to find out that it was one of the top 5 pillowcases that beauty magazines adore- and at such a competitive price and quality to a more expensive brand. It’s very luxurious and it eliminates creases in my hair when I wake up. It came quickly in a neat package with an easy to read info and help brochure that included their information on warranty (and options for future discounts). In terms of the pillowcase: I love that it is a zippered pillowcase and the hidden zipper matched the color of the pillowcase. The zipper didn’t feel cheap since it was a pendant teardrop shape and the whole zippered part is folded in so it’s hidden between two folds of silk without showing any seams- literally so beautifully designed. In terms of the fabric: it was light but not too thin, which I appreciate and you can really tell the difference between this and the charmeuse satin I’ve been using prior. Definitely worth the price it’s listed for, and since it stays cool to the touch even after sleeping on it, it was a much welcomed addition to those nights when I couldn’t fall asleep as easily. I’ve had this pillowcase for over 2 months now, and even though it may slide around a little bit, if you’re sleeping against a headboard or wall, it really shouldn’t matter since that prevents the pillow from slipping off. Besides that, I honestly would buy a couple more in the grey, black, and the gold. Definitely a happy customer!
