Dismal color but it's still pretty and fun
The wooden tray is worth the price by itself. I have adult children and I've had almost 50 years of Mother's Days of gifts. I'm fat so candy is out, I'm old so no flowers dying in a vase please, and I'm purging useless things from my life, including my ungrateful husband so I said no gifts: just me and my kids! Come as you are because we're having a fun tea party like we use to when you were small little kids. This time the teapot will pour out Bourbon! The teapot hold enough liquid to fill each cup twice. Bourbon shots will be the tea this time: not Kool Aid! We're playing Chinese Mahjong, and getting Chinese takeout and having a good old fashioned tea party like we use to have almost 50 years ago. I love the tray. I'll probably give the teapot, cups, saucers and spoons away to charity but the tray I'll keep because it's so heavy and unique and perfect size for a candle and a little dish of Skittles by my chair. I missed my mid-life crisis because life was good, but ancient old age awareness has me doing silly but fun things just because I can.

This tea set is so adorable! I bought it for my 2 year old niece. The muted colors are very nice and the tray is such a cute addition. I wanted a tea set that wasn't overly bright and obnoxious. As others have noted, it is on the smaller size, but perfect for little ones. I bought a pink bin for her to store it in. As soon as she opened it, she started drinking her 'tea'. The silicone is nice because you can put liquid in it and it can be washed. Highly recommend!
