Works great, more brown in color and cleaning issues
Works well. Mine is a lot more brown than the ad, where it looked black. For resting steaks I was able to fit two 12 oz NY Strip steaks on it. Can easily fit six burgers or maybe four chicken breasts. Could probably fit one T-bone or porterhouse. I bought this to rest steaks not use it as a dinner plate but I did take a pic of the burger I cooked on it to give it a size comparison. Cleaning the burnt finish comes off on your hands, dish rags, etc for several washes. It also comes off on your drying towels so use paper towel to dry at least for the first several washes.

Love these oak cutting/serving boards. I have two just ordered a third. Easy to clean and fast drying. Read the insert that comes with your board. Teslyar DOES make a bigger board too - 14 by 10, but you’ll have to go to their site to order it. Great prices for such a good looking durable product. Note: yes when cleaning at first some of the char ( they burn the wood ) will come off. It’s just wood char, no problem for me whatsoever.

Lovely plate,perfect for my steak!
Well finished wood. Thick and heavy. I have been adding mineral oil periodically to ensure endurance. The plate was already treated but I figured more can't hurt. Charring does wipe of with each treament and probably will for a while . Not an issue for me. It's just wood. It sees daily use and if I regularly cooked steak for others, I would purchase more as it makes a fine presentation. Recimmended !

Color is beautiful, durability is great, the drip liner works GREAT
I smoke & grill a lot. This will fit 2 slabs of pork ribs easily while cutting. Depth of drip liner is great. I've never had the board slide on me while cutting. Very well built, beautiful movement with the color tones, & thickness is a bit thin but not an issue for the average household.
