They're safe in the oven, the microwave, and yes — they can handle the heat. Fired at 2,340°F for 13 hours, these are not your fragile tourist-trap ceramics. ABSOLUTELY THOUGHTFUL PACKAGING!! I purchased these for my new apartment as I will be getting rid of all my old dinnerware. The design was absolutely stunning to me and gives high high-quality for a low price point. I received them with no cracks no issues at all (due to their awesome packaging). I’ll be moving in April so I just opened the boxes to make sure they were no cracks or faults and let me just tell you I am amazed. I highly recommend.
