Impressive capacity and value for one-bag travel
I just completed a work trip that served as my first time one bagging for a flight. To give you an idea of the capacity, I managed to pack the following for a 4 night trip: - Clothing: 3x Lululemon pants, 2x base layer sweatshirts, 1x sweater, 1x sleep shorts, 2x tank tops, 1x t-shirt, 5x underwear, and 3x socks (all packed in compression cubes). I wore the same outfit flying to and from my destination. - Tech: 14" MacBook, 13" MacBook, iPad Air, Switch 2 console, plus power adapters and cables. - Misc: Full toiletries bag, house keys, and travel receipts. I learned some valuable lessons on this trip. While I consider myself athletic and stronger than average, I still underestimated the total weight. With all that gear, the bag likely weighed 40–45 lbs. While it was manageable for walking through terminals, I wouldn't recommend this setup for extended walking. The organization is minimal. The main pocket held all my clothing, while the tech section easily swallowed my laptops and tablets. That pocket is huge and could likely fit any laptop on the market. I used the front pocket for my toiletries and the quick-access pocket for small items like keys and receipts. I got the bag in black color and it looks as spartan as the picture shows. The bag’s durability seems solid; it looks unchanged even after the trip ended. The thick backpack straps definitely helped ease the load, though the sternum strap felt a bit dangly since I didn't use it. I also appreciated the compression straps for that extra bit of security. Despite the heavy load, the footprint is significantly smaller than a roller bag. It fit easily into the overhead bin on my United flight. Fantastic backpack for the price. There are plenty of other premium brands charging a lot more. The quality and function of the backpack, equals or even is better than those other brands for a fraction of the cost. It has some anti-theft features like for the laptop/tablet compartment, the zipper has a hole so u can put a lock, the zipper for the top compartment can be hidden so it's not as accessible. The backpack style is more of a duffel/clamshell bag since the main storage compartment opens in the front. The material of the bag feels very thick so it seems very durable, but only time will tell. Has some clip straps which can be used to tighten the bag to make it slimmer which is very nice especially for traveling if u need to put it in tight spaces. Seems like a lot of thought was put into designing the bag that has a little bit of everything. Only con is that the bag could be more comfortable, especially with a laptop and it is not a very light if that is what you are looking for. Straps has lots of adjust ability for different body sizes and even a chest buckle. Design of the bag is subjective, in my opinion it looks very practical and nice.
