I got this because I had just spilled coffee on my new MacBook Air and wanted it to be elevated to prevent any future incidents. I gotta say for the price this is completely worth it. It’s got rubber padding to hold the laptop and the set up took but one minute. The material is solid and sturdy so I’m not concerned over my laptop falling over or the stand collapsing. The open space at the bottom allows more desk space to work on when I’m not using my other keyboard.

Sturdy and easy to Assemble
I assembled this easily. It is actually a good weight metal. First, I want to say this is not to be used to type on. I use it to hold the laptop as it is more like a cpu for my screens, keyboard, mouse and when needed headset. It is sturdy and holds it up so when I do need to use the laptop screen it is at a perfect height for me. It allows room underneath to add some extra space to my desk also. Great buy.
